Without doubt Donald Trump loves our Vets:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/bloggers/3330070/posts?page=79#79

And without doubt again Donald Trump fights for the American Flag:

http://www.foxnews.com/story/2007/01/19/defiant-donald-trump-vows-to-keep-large-american-flag-flying-at-mar-lago.html

On the social issues neither he nor Ted Cruz will be able to effect much change, lasting change. I will explain that in a moment.

Suffice for now that Ted Cruz’ call for sympathy to Kim Davis and all Christians is an emotional appeal to form solidarity around an issue that is near and dear to those of a more senior generation.

Whereas a substantial election-crucial segment of younger and middle generations clamor to Donald Trump because of his charisma, independence and defiance of a disingenuous current-day political class, the younger Cruz is not yet resonating because his brand harkens to an era forgotten or unknown to them.

Therefore, Donald Trump is the Ted Cruz integrator, the host that introduces, who fosters an air of new meetings and associations to which Ted Cruz should thrive as an educator and promoter of American ideals that are brilliantly universal but which are stored away out of view in the intellectual attics of today’s political class.

However again, it won’t matter. All that the combination can do now is to seal the deal with enough voters who will deny the left, whether from the democrats or the GOPe, in their quest to continue occupying the White House.

The social issues will be raised up for debate but no results will satisfy. The left has thoroughly infiltrated the courts, the law schools and their attendant accomplices such as the ACLU. They hold the court’s cards strongly in their hands. No amount of Trump-Cruz magic drink will render the courts so disoriented as to give back America’s traditional sense of morality and wholesomeness.

The only lasting solution is found in my tagline which will comprise several structural state controlled elements that leaves the social issues to the states. Roe v. Wade to the states, Same-Sex Marriage to the states, Marijuana usage to the states, School Prayer to the states and so on etc. The federal government will never undertake such reforms on their own.

Let me be clearer. A remedy is forming today at breakneck speed that is under the national media radar in its breakout pattern. Constitutional amendments can rein in the USSC, can devolve the horrid centralization of power held by a cultural class of elitists, can dissolve the career politician caste system, can reverse federal legislation that Americans find unrepresentative and so on.

The good news is the amendment process via the states can be lightning quick. Should 34 states propose, and 4 additional states sign on in support, an amendment can be made part of the Rule of Law within a matter of weeks because the bodies proposing and ratifying are identical.

Let me make it yet clearer. The social angst, the social tyranny can be eviscerated within weeks once enough state legislators from enough states are in agreement. Ted Cruz or Donald Trump or Ronald Reagan back from the Dead cannot do in such a short time or even a longer time what 34 and 38 states can do. No amount of charisma, agreement in pure ideals, or adroit politicking can do what Article V can do.

Therefore, it matters not so much how Donald Trump fails to support Kim Davis, nor how much Ted Cruz brings sympathy to her cause, their lack of fight or passion may avoid or win battles but never the war; there will be no end to it. The war is won and brought to an end by the American people via a closer more representative organization that aims directly at the target which is the abuse of the governing document by the federal class.

And to those that state the Constitution will simply be ignored, I say such statements are shallow. The structural amendments to be written leave the States in control of administration, interpretation and enforcement. The federal government may ignore the states amendments but the states can ignore whatever facet of federal government they have amended. The states will have the law on their side via Article V should the federal government attempt to carry on business as usual.

The states win because the federal government will have no recourse short of overthrowing the Rule of Law which is extreme and highly unlikely. Even under that extreme scenario, there is no hope for a federal force to subdue the states either physically or legally. For example, US Marshals attempting to arrest Kim Davis would be subject to arrest themselves under state jurisdiction.

Such extreme scenarios and examples will never happen because the federal courts still have a modicum of sense of reality. If a lower federal court in one of the most recalcitrant districts were to issue a ruling against the states amendments, the states could simply ignore and prepare to arrest any agent with federal badge.

The scenario that is much much higher in plausibility in response to states quash or states resolution is capitulation. The ruling class would simply cease to exist until they could possibly find or invent another device from which to ascend, and they will try. But the structural amendments would simply knock out the rungs used in their repeated ascension trysts so long as states are close to their people, and today they are very close.

Cruz has never needed the help of a liberal Democrat and that’s not going to change now.

Well said.. However; Cruz could be co-opted too but it doesnt look like it.. I doubt it.. strongly..

There is simply no other republican candidate worth the powder to blow him to hell..
ONE OPTION.. I can see no other option.. Cruz seems to be PREPARED exactly for this Contest.. It’s almost biblical in scope..

Christian ..Versus.. an Anti-Christ.. (metaphorically)

Because if any presidential candidate is prepared to become a “proverbial” Anti_Christ it’s Donald Trump....

GLOBAL Capitalist serious history of SUPPORTING the BAD GUYS..
and a few good guys that turned out to BAD GUYS...

Only thing missing is the damned HORNS.. LOL..

Did I mention that Donald Trump is against the 2nd amendment.. what else is he against?.. he flip flops quickly and frequently on ISSUES.... You know like a liberal.. or a RINO..

So you perceive that The Donald is "against" the Second Amendment? I have never heard any well-reasoned speech, or really any speech at all, from him to that effect. Maybe we should just ask him to produce such a speech, so as to put all doubt about the matter to rest. (He would do exceedingly well to consult with The Ted beforehand. But then again, exactly how much "help" does The Ted want to give The Donald in such matters?)

Dearest friend, I will agree with you about this: Donald Trump is a RINO — a "republican in name only." But then again, so what?

What, exactly, is in a "taxonomic label" anymore? The GOPe is clearly a self-inflicted RINO already: They have abandoned the traditional-values voters at the very heart of their mission since Day One (e.g., back to the Civil War).

And there are similar complaints on "the other side of the Aisle": There are not a few Democrats nowadays who feel they have been abandoned by their historic Party. Increasingly in recent times, under the auspices of the currently sitting (ersatz) POTUS, both of these venerable political brands — Republican, Democrat — have been rendered unto nullities. They don't "stand" for anything anymore, because Obama has assiduously been working over the past seven years to destroy the very ground on which both parties stand. After all, he is the self-described "transformational president." He has been incredibly successful in producing that result.

Which is just to say, dear 'pipe, do not put stock in taxonomic labels as they pertain to politics. They don't mean anything anymore.

My sense — FWIW — is that we are plunged into a post-party political environment. The "rules" that applied in the past may not any longer hold. And the usual definitional labels no longer apply to what matters to We the People of the United States of America.

I'd say our current existential position as American citizens is unprecedented. Until I remember the Civil War.

That American society was irremediably divided. The recourse was to war between brothers. Sickening, horrendous, ungodly effects ensued in which incalculable human suffering was general on both sides. But the Nation under the Constitution was preserved, at enormous national sacrifice....

Our "uniter, not divider" president has somehow managed to polarize American society right down to the ground. Meanwhile, both political parties just stand there, mute, doing nothing.

And you, dear friend, want to tell me that the labels the respective parties wear can actually mean anything? What do the parties stand for? To me, it seems there is little difference between them, judging from the effects of the last election....

I really wish you could keep a more open mind about breaking developments, dearest 'pipe! And stop reducing the world of actual experience to mere "labels."

HUGS!!!

No need for Donald to make another speech although repeating his support for the 2nd Amendment would be comforting to some doubters but not necessary.

He supports the 2nd Amendment:

Good evidence of your thinking.. and I almost always agree with you on political issues even other issues... you know that...

ALL that discourse above and reams of discourse on many other threads.. ARE meaningless when you have..

A Tested, Proven, Confirmed, easily researched, prepared by fire, republican candidate for President.. That easily out shines the other candidates some proven conservatives.. others NOT.. TRUMP being one of those..

Actually; much easily researched information on TRUMP too..
Trump not being as he appears.. with a mask, a persona, role playing, a mimic, and so much darn evidence against a conservative view of things.. especially political things..

With the TOP Gun staring you in the face.. TRUMP crashes and burns.. It’s almost like bewitchment this Trumpocity..

GOD didn’t promise me a Rose Garden.. I’m just doing MY part.. in my way.. TOO direct usually for most... but hell I gotta be me.. Yosemite Sam’ing it up..

Free Republic 10 years ago Trump would have been taken apart, salted, seasoned, and marinated like a brisket... and then BBQ’ed..

Trump is just not TESTED , PROVEN, Confirmed as a republican
let alone a conservative yet..

TRUE OBAMA.... has more or less driven conservatives quite crazy, gah gah, goofy.. including mesef.. BUT jeese this choice should be very easy to make.. It seems to me QUITE OBVIOUS and I’m no political genius either..

Ted is just simply the man of THIS hour... prepared and confirmed..
No one is even close to his qualifications..

A SURE Deal on an election no one can make..

Presidents, Senators, House members.. mayors, governors, CHiefs of police.. etc....

clue: POLLS are a SNIPE HUNT... hold yer bag out and quitely whisper “trump.... trump.. trump?” like that..
