The Beltways frustrating political gridlock has moved to the Hamptons literally as presidential hopefuls Hillary Clinton and Jeb Bush make last-minute cash grabs from wealthy, summering donors, leaving locals complaining about terrible traffic and suffocating security.
Hamptons residents have been dreading this weekend, sighed a local. Its going to be political gridlock. Everybodys saying they dont want to leave the house nor get on any roads Sunday.
Both Clinton and Bush each scheduled at least three events over the weekend.

Who in their right mind wants to give cash to either of these duds???
A fool and his money....
No gripes about Obonzo making Martha’s Vineyard, Silicon Valley or Hollywood traffic “hell” when he’s out scrounging money from his wealthy comrades.
Also, Long Island traffic sucks on a regular day. I can only imagine what it is like out there today.
The Hamptons deserve these two!
I don’t recall the MSM complaining when King Obola ties up traffic in any city he decides to hold a $10MM+ fundraiser in.
Turn about is fair play
Back in the early 70’s as a teen used to ride the bike sometimes all through the Hamptons on the way to Montauk Point. It wasn’t so crowded back then. Rich, elitist lieberals and a few RINO’s now mar the scenic beauty of the east end. Long Island has way too many turd worlders now as well plus its an expensive shiite hole to live in with horrendous traffic.
“Look, if you give me so much, I’ll see to it that your interest’s are covered. I’ll veto any bill, that may cause you to loose on your investment”. “So how much are we talking about?” Politics, don’t ya just love it?
Even the North Fork , where my family live , is carzy crowded on weekends nowadays .
[Hillary, Bill and family, including daughter Chelsea, are staying at a $100,000 two-week rental in Amagansett.]
Nice. I can relate.
Last hotel I was in was $59/night rate (online) BUT had indoor pool, jacuzzi and ice machines. Even free wireless internet.
Yeah, it’s great to live big.
ANOTHER solarium?
Another one of those great Hampton weekends.
Elaine: Some ugly baby, huh?
Doctor: What did you say?
Elain: Some SNUGGLY baby, huh?
Kramer: No, I’m serious. He looks like Lyndon Johnson.
LOL, we could keep doing this for YEARS :-)
Ack, your pic isn’t showing on my end. Me or you?
As we should!
My sister married some years ago (10)? at a winery in/on the North Fork.
We were both raised on Long Island. I’ve been on the Left Coast for years, tho.
Long Island is still beautiful regardless of the traffic and increased population.
You can have the taxes, tho!
