Trump takes Nashville by storm — with one pitch no other candidate would dare use

Although Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump has been stretching out his lead in the polls, he’s still stumping hard and not taking anything for granted.

And a resounding straw poll victory Saturday could mean it’s paying off.

“Normally I wouldn’t say this but I need your frigging vote, do you understand that?” he told a crowd of loyal supporters in Nashville on Saturday.

Imagine Jeb Bush coming out with that? He’d get kicked out of the country club. Hillary Clinton? The feminists would figure out what “frigging” really meant, and get the vapors. Even regular-guy Scott Walker would probably never say it out loud — not into a microphone, anyway.

But Trump made it sound like a winner.

I said you could knock it off any time but apparently, and as indicated you do, you prefer to continue to be insulting. And no wonder then you're preference is Trump. So we are done...I won't get into leftist tactics with you.

.....”All I am asking is that, before people start stampeding off a cliff, we ought to know what his policies are, force him to make promises which can be used to destroy him (a la Bush the Elder’s no new taxes) if he is lying. I don’t know the Donald personally. From the moment Ronaldus Maximus left the White House, we have witnessed an unrelieved parade of worthless second raters or worse (Slick Willie or Comrade Obozo) as POTUS...... I’m looking for quality this time”....

Than you very much for that post...well said too!

In Black Elk’s rant, I am sure you noticed, as did I, the apparent ignorance of Black Elk concerning many of Trump’s statements.... such as his desire to build our military again, and take care of our Vets first.
I agree with your assessment of his raving over hating Mexicans which was a Media slant that became embedded in some people’s heads as was intended, but was NOT in fact, what Trump said. The identical same thing has happened over his refusing to quote Bible verses at the DEMAND of some so called journalist and so many other misquotes I am becoming disgusted. Stick to your guns. The Trump haters have hit a wall and they don’t like it that they are no longer in charge of people’s votes. Trump has broken the chains. That is a large part of his appeal.

the one who wants to discuss Megan Kelly's menstrual periods

He didn't do that.

He was trying to end the conversation...wherever/whatever.

Trump is not a lifelong Democrat. He doesn't even care about politics.

That's his appeal.

That said, he loves America. And whatever (wherever) solutions are needed to save this country are things he is interested in.

You don't know Trump...you are just spewing feces from your mouth. Wonder how it got there?

I say F-word all the time and I am a devout Christian.

Well, you shouldn't say it here, "Your Holiness".

Well I’m sorry that happened to you...it shouldn’t have. But then some are dishing it out and getting it back no matter what’s being stated....we are entering the crazy season for sure in this election......

If I hide it...am I not a liar and hypocrite.

I try to be polite, maybe if I open up a knuckle when a wrench slips, but then I’m only an adequate Christian.

INDEED! If his Trumpness manages to buy the nomination as Willard did, we will be hearing about how we have an obligation to run off the cliff with the GOP lemmings just as we heard last time. Not only ought we not to vote for RINOs or CINOs, we ought also to avoid voting for the candidates who refuse to articulate their positions on issues. That too is a form of political correctness. It is not enough to simply refrain from discussing Megan Kelly's menstrual cycles in public much less on the campaign trail. If Trump's mama were alive, she would probably take his sorry backside to the woodshed.

If Bill Buckley were alive, he would be flaying Trump alive.

I must take your word for what the other poster said. The repeated references to my not liking Mexicans were right up front, and I literally stopped reading there.

I read all of your post, though. I have seen what you referred to when it comes to both the media and the Trump-haters twisting of his words and misrepresenting his statements. You expect that from the MSM. That is their MO. The things I have read from fellow conservatives have surprised me, though. Here is a patriot, speaking loudly and clearly about a life and death problem the country faces...and for that he is vilified? I really don’t understand it.

Cruz was my first choice. He’s just not passionate enough about restoring the country’s sovereignty, however. The soccer balls and teddy bears were hard for me to take. If the border was totally secure, anchor babies were a thing of the past, and Every Single Day saw a mass deportation of the worst of the foreign invader rapists, murderers, child molesters, etc., then we could shift focus. Unless and until those things happen, the rest is beside the point.

Well, for starters, Trump isn’t a lifelong Democrat (unlike Willard and his daddy, who were both left-wingers who used the GOP as a vehicle when the Democrats proved unviable to their swift rise to power). He’s gone back and forth (for a lot of people, they can relate to that). I can’t really call myself a “lifelong Republican”, since my disgust for the establishment scum erupted not long after my enfranchisement and I haven’t voted for them with determined regularity in a decade.

Personally, I love outsider, anti-establishment $hit-stirrers. The more the establishment hates them, the more I like them because I know they’re right.

As for Trump talking “dirty”, I guess it just depends on the person listening to them. I call it blunt honesty. Frankly, it’s MILD by comparison to my usual reactions to the daily horror stories I come across.

Also, the Megyn Kelly “menstrual” claims came entirely from the twisted and warped mind of the creepy and corpulent El Jebbe disciple/flunky, Erick Erickson. Trump never uttered anything about it at all. It was a depraved attempt by an establishment leftist hack to try to take down Trump and it blew up in his (and her) faces spectacularly.

Watching from the peanut gallery out in flyover country, Trump speaks directly to a lot of people that are sick to death of where our nation is at now, and that we’re willing to give him the benefit of the doubt that he will decisively act on restoring our country to greatness again.

I see the people that truly despise him (in both parties and in the culture at large) are America’s enemies and complicit in the decades’ long decline, the issues he addresses are my issues (it does him no good to piss off the establishment and cultural elites of his class if he were just to get in the race and swiftly exit, as they aren’t likely to forget his words and actions), and the people he consults and surrounds himself with (as I mentioned, Sen. Jeff Sessions), which demonstrates a seriousness that he’s going to have the right people helping him to deal with the issues.

I think he has seen the light and truly wants to put us back on the right course. Perhaps I should not compare him to Patton at present... that really can only be reserved for after he becomes President and follows through on his pledges.

....”Here is a patriot, speaking loudly and clearly”....

‘Patriot’ and ‘clearly’ are definable words which Trump needs to up his game on to be convincing....along with a few other “definable” words he has yet to add to his vocabulary.

They said the same about Obama....that “benefit” got us to where we are today. I’m not going to watch a repeat of the Obama nutcases falling all over a man who is not clear about where he stands.

No, I beg to differ. frickin is more closely associated with the f word because it contains the requisite “ck” whereas friggen does not contain the requisite “ck” and is therefor more distant from the intentionally avoided intended word “f_cking”

That’s some Harvard sh_t right there!

Thank you for a kind and thoughtful reply. The rudeness that seems to come over some people during just about every election cycle is a real shame. Insulting people is not the way to win them over to your POV or your candidate, either one.

Now me personally, I don’t see that calling Trump haters Trump-haters is an insult. From what I have seen and experienced, it is just a factual reference. I’m open to suggestions, however. What would be a better way, if I may ask, to refer to people who at a mminimum *appear* to hate Trump?

I used to be polite but since Trump entered the scene, I have been a little less PC (right or wrong).

Forgive me if I offended you.

But I might be just as offensive to others in the next few weeks.

Trump has made it OK to speak from the heart again.
