EXCLUSIVE: TRUMP CALLS CLUB FOR GROWTH ‘A PACK OF THIEVES’
Breitbart ^ | August 29,2015 | by MICHAEL PATRICK LEAHY

Posted on 08/29/2015 2:24:06 PM PDT by Hojczyk

In an exclusive interview with Breitbart News, GOP front runner Donald Trump is firing back at the Club for Growth.

“They’re a pack of thieves,” Trump told Breitbart News as he was leaving Nashville’s Rocketown facility. He had just finished delivering a high-energy speech to an overflow crowd of more than 1,000 people.

Trump was attending the annual convention of the National Federation of Republican Assemblies, which describes itself as “the grassroots Republican wing of the Republican Party.”

“They [the Club for Growth] came to my office looking for money. I turned them down. That’s why they’re after me,” Trump told Breitbart News.

Earlier in the week, the Club for Growth attacked Trump for his proposal to penalize Ford Motor Company for putting a car manufacturing plant in Mexico rather than Tennessee.

“Donald Trump’s threat to impose new taxes on U.S. car companies will hurt the American economy and cost more American jobs,” David McIntosh, President of the Club for Growth, said in a statement.

“It should thrill liberals and Democrats everywhere that Trump wants to create new taxes and start a trade war to force American companies to work where he demands,” McIntosh added.

Trump stopped specifically to address Breitbart’s question as he moved down the exit aisles surrounded by throngs of supporters.

“I love Breitbart News. This is going to be a good question,” Trump said.

Trump did not pull any punches when asked if he had a message for the Club for Growth in response to its attacks.

Other candidates might shy away from calling out their critics so bluntly as “a pack of thieves,” but for Trump it was just another opportunity to take the battle to the opposition.

So the goal should be to make the environment support maximal profit here. Then our business will stay and others will come,

If we all start eating rice 3 times a day we can afford to work for pennies instead of dollars...Would that create a positive environment for business to stay here???

And if the answer is yes, I say build a wall and when they leave, don't let them back in...Screw their maximal profits...

Since Clinton no President has lifted a finger to protect American workers and industry. I think it was a globalist plan. Clinton is the one who began it as far as I can tell.

Daddy Bush is the one who actually created the NAFTA scheme...At the very end of his term in office...He wasn't able to get it implemented since he lost the election...

Clinton was against Nafta...I believe he initially campaigned against it...Oddly, after Clinton was elected he did a 180 flip flop...He joined the club and apparently had to play by the rules...

"Other than you're all dishonest frauds, is there some reason you have to resort to "attack ads" and not use the merits of your so called "free trade" to discredit Trump?. "

Very good point...

Geron is right. Trump is not a conservative. He has really never been very conservative. I like him but certainly not going to vote for him for the nomination. Not many conservatives will.

I know it must infuriate you snobs that Trump continues to rise in the polls. No worries, Trump doesn’t need the small minority of holier than thou “conservatives” like yourself.

You and your ilk are becoming more and more irrelevant every day.

I know Daddy Bush is a big fat globalist. But with one term, he did not get too far. Clinton and his deary wife Billary ran with Daddy George’s ball - big time.

A friend of my dads had a 57 Chrysler 300. That is one of the best looking cars built in the 50’s. It was powered by a dual quad 392 hemi so it would go like hell too.

As my husband worked in a union factory for several years I disagree with you. Anyone who didn’t want to work could demand to see his union rep and spend several hours doing nothing on paid time. Chrysler had workers sit in the break room, paid still, when they met a quota. That is nonsense. The majority of workers DO take pride but the dead weight is union protected when they should be shown the door. That is want I said could be corrected and American exceptionalism in manufacturing would again be shown!

It's not nonsense if you understand what's going on...In fact it's a sign of efficiency...

Places like that have the labor/cost ratio worked out to a science...They do time studies to know how long it take a good worker to produce the necessary parts...

Those that are too slow don't make it...But then there are those who can produce faster...Many factories have specific space to store parts for the day...Other conditions dictate how many parts ahead are allowed to be made...

These places are sometime so efficient that when a person's job is completed for the day there isn't any where else to fill in to keep busy...Remember, these workers are feeding assembly lines and there isn't a lot of room to stack up parts...

You can't send the people home since no one wants a part time job that could change from day to day and it would be impossible to keep someone in that position...

Sure there are freeloaders...But they are the exception, not the rule...

I’ll never understand why auto companies don’t try to build cars as beautiful as that anymore. Or at least cars with some style.

All cars nowadays go thru wind tunnel testing and that bevels any styling the car may have had. BTW that smoothing out only adds about .5 MPG to the cars fuel economy, but hey who am i to complain..
