Jeb has a foot-in-mouth problem, and it's seriously hurting him

What we've got here is failure to communicate.

Jeb Bush has been stumping his way across the country, explaining what he would do as president. But nobody seems to understand what the heck he's talking about.

In July, he said that "people need to work longer hours" as part of an economic recovery. Then he said his remarks had been misinterpreted.

A couple of weeks later he said "we need to figure out a way to phase out" Medicare. Then he complained that critics were taking his remarks out of context.

That controversy hadn't died down when he started another by using the term "anchor babies" to describe the children of immigrants — and before long he was complaining that people were misconstruing these remarks, too.

Add to this the four different answers he struggled to give during a single week this spring about whether he would have invaded Iraq, and it's quite possible that no other person who aspires to occupy the bully pulpit has himself been bullied quite so much by the English language.

Bush comes by this naturally — congenitally, even. His brother, of course, was one of the world's great malapropism artists during his eight years in office: "Is our children learning? . . . I know how hard it is for you to put food on your family . . . Families is where our nation finds hope, where wings take dream . . . Make the pie higher . . . Too many OB/GYNs aren't able to practice their love with women all across the country."

YES! Blacks see illegals getting all these benefits and being courted by dems, who basically have taken the black vote for granted for 50 years, and they are angry.

Not that the 40 or 50 black guys i see hanging out in front of the deli in stapleton would Dream of working 70 hours a week as a dishwasher, (God forbid) but they are angry.

It’s a shame because there are a lot of hard workers out here that are illegals, but they broke the law and that can’t be forgiven.

Gonna be a lot of jobs to fill when they’re deported lol.

My neighbors are going to have to find new landscapers, construction workers, maids, lol..

Outstanding post. Trump as a bull with Jeb in the clown barrel had me cracking up.

Trump has brought up a lot of good issues, but I would have loved to see Ted on top. I think Trump’s voters would be dispersed but I could be wrong. Maybe they would go to Ted.

That last is the problem right now. All these Trump bashers must assume EVERY Trump supporter will go over to Ted - a far reach IMO.

If Trump goes down now, his supporters will scatter to the fourth winds, including some RINOs - especially when the Establishment pours money behind Jeb again.

At this point, warts and all, Trump's my boy. If Cruz ever gets the traction he doesn't have now, and it boils down to those two, I will rethink my position, but right now, let's kill all the Rino contenders off first.

Speaking of your neighbors, it really frosts me that they eagerly break the law because they are too lazy to do their own housework. This partcularly galls me with the RINO wives. We went through a period in the nineties and early “aughts” where bubble affluence led us to buying enormous houses. They are ugly, wasteful and vulgar. Which is fine in a free country until these Bars and Laura’s and Columbas start promoting illegal aliens so they can lie around and be waited on. Hire an American at an honest wage—do the work yourself—or maybe sell that hideous mcMansion and live in a smaller space.

you know, as is common, they dont even recognize the irony. or maybe they do.

“darn illegals!! Now where’s that nice spanish woman to clean my house and where are the landscapers.”

That they do the work others wont do is a lie.

I’m not positive, but i think before illegals houses still got cleaned, lawns still got mowed, houses still got remodeled etc.

What happened with illegals is that expectations changed...now everyone has to have a golf course or resort instead of just a yard and some pansies --when that kind of labor got so cheap , you saw people always wanting to outdo themselves and their neighbors. Now they're dependent. Certainly in a free country they should have the home they want--in however bad taste they choose to build it.

But I regard resorting to black market labor as a kind of taxation on the rest of us. We have our prisons overrun, our schools ruined, crime and disorder...

All so Laura and Columba Bush can get cheap help to pick up the dog's poop. I am very resentful if the lazy, good-for-nithing Bush women.
