Answer my question.

Can you name another liberal you trust and if not, why do you trust liberal Donald Trump?

You mean, like former union leader Ronald Reagan.

It’s a tired meme.

Ginger or Maryann?

Maryann sure held up well. Very hot.

I have asked other Cruz supporters if their candidate has powerfully articulated the absolutely incalculable devastation wreaked by the invading horde. I never receive a quote, or quotes, in return.

I have not heard Cruz detail the simply staggering cost the American people and the country have already paid as a direct result of this lawless, wholesale invasion. Nor have I heard him detail how he vows to stop it once and for all.

If such quotes exist, surely his supporters must know how to find and post them.

Whether you realize it or not, you are proving why Trump is getting the support he is, you are screaming he’s a liberal and all liberals lie... I just countered as a Conservative with just a few examples where the Republicans have not kept their word.... and you respond by I am not defending republicans..

Trump, for good or ill, is running, and he’s running with the right message for this time, both sides of the aisle have sold this nation down the river for their own political backers gains... they are corrupt, incompetent and don’t give a damn about the people except how to fool them for a vote every few years.

LIke it or not that is indeed a very accurate description in a lot of ways of the political class today... Now you can believe Trump is saying these things for a jaded reason, or you can believe he’s saying what he truly means.... and after watching all the overhandle politicians of the last 30 years pretend to be things they aren’t, I don’t whiff one iota of insincerity from Trump when he says what he says, whether I agree with what he is saying or not.

He’s not my ideological guy, but I truly do think he makes the rest of the political field look like stale week old bread, both Republicans and Democrats, and because of that, he’s connecting and unless he screws himself up, he is very likely to be the next President.

My point was successful.

You're so clever.

I flat out don't care what Trump was in the past.

All. Righty Then. Lets give ol' Comb-over the benefit of the doubt and assume he is what he says he is now. A conservative.

But lets not lose sight of what he was in the past - is currently - and will forever be:

A self-promoting, look at me, opportunistic, populistic, double talking 21st century snake oil salesman. With a big mouth and no political experience.

Only if he was saying the same thing he is now.

Trollish action is disregarded.

Your post is in the overall scheme of things plainly irrelevant. I voted for McCain and Romney because they were the best of the two candidates actually running.

Unlike many here that constantly cop out because Jesus Christ is not on the ballot, we must make the decision...... which of the two is best. Obama was clearly not the best.

Conservative laziness and cop out got us Obama. The presidential election is not about voter personal self esteem

A message delivered by a liberal. You are free to believe a liberal when he makes campaign promises, I don't.

Ah yes. The Regan/Trump comparison. Because Reagan was just like Trump in every way.

I don’t feel you understand the nature of the bribes that are happening... you’re thinking ‘small city circa 1930’ . This isn’t al capon stuff... it’s institutional.

Look. I’m not here to be your personal Google for Cruz’s positions on amnesty, illegal immigrant, the Wall or whatever.

You wanna know what they are? Go look ‘em up.

Still waiting for your answers to my perfectly reasonable questions.

Btw, I will be delighted to answer this question, which you directed to yourself, if you will finally stop playing games and answer mine now.

>> My suspicion is that at least half of Trump’s support would go to Bush if the Donald fell out <<

Interesting theory. If (for example) ca. one-half of Trump’s support is based purely on celebrity and name recognition rather than on policy and temperament, then the other “well recognized” guy in the race might indeed pick up the lion’s share of Trump’s “celebrity share” of the vote. Gotta think about it for a while.

From the bottom all the way to the top. The bribes you have to pay are everywhere as a developer, and you need a separate consulting firm to ensure they all get paid so that you don’t end up in the docket.

These consultants ensure a ‘smooth process’ in terms of everything - from permitting to first shovel.

You hire them, and they expect you to know what’s up, because they won’t lay it out for you. They send you invoices and you pay them. If you ask for itemization, they will ask whether or not you want another firm to handle your work (because obviously you still don’t understand what we do for you.)

That goes all the way up the line to the Senate. I don’t know how it is done at the K-Street level. Probably something similar - your guy sends a check to a bundler.

Anyway, we must be getting close to being as crooked as Mexico now. Not sure how the judges are getting their envelopes either. They are getting them. Has to be K-street again.

Again, tell me what Campaign promise Republicans have made to you and kept?

Sorry, but even if Trump is a “liberal”, which I think is a little funny on its face, he’s taken stands all over the place in his public career spanning 30+ years, trying to use that as an argument to diffuse him fails and falls flat when the simple counter is... so what promises has your politician kept?

Trump is not where I am ideologically, I am not sitting here advocating anyone support him, what I am saying is I can see completely why he is getting the support he is, and that I do doubt any candidate on either side of the aisle during this political season will take him down.

The powers that be are so insanely tone deaf on both sides, that they really think they can push America into a Bush V Clinton race when no one, and I do mean no one wants either one of them.. that’s how tone deaf they are.

You don’t have to support Trump, I don’t have to support Trump, but I am telling you, he is the only guy out there that is connecting, and connecting in a big way across the spectrum. There is a lot of time left in this election, but it really looks like its his to lose...

WHy? because both parts have done so damn poorly that neither one has any credibility, the arguments that would stop someone like him in previous elections have no weight, because both sides have screwed over the people so badly, that no matter what they throw up there, the counter is, Look he can’t be any worse that Obama or Bush.... or x or y or z... so he’s got a huge berth to work from that at other times would not exist, but both parties created the environment that is going to allow someone like Trump to have a shot, and he is definitely using it.

I looked. The Cruz quotes are not there. He has NEVER articulated the life and death struggle we face due to unchecked invading hordes. He has NEVER articulated the incalculably devastating toll America and Americans have already paid at the hands of illegals. I am unaware of any binding promise he has made to build a wall—but I know that if it had been made, his supporters would have unearthed it by now.

Bert, you've been gone for 2 hours and THIS?

This is all you could think of? I gave you a simple question....

Would you vote for a liberal with an (R) after his name?

A freaking yes or no answer. And after thinking on that for TWO hours you still could not think of an answer?

Bert, you better engage that brain of yours pretty soon. I think its gone to the dem side.
