Slain Cameraman Photographed His Killer

The gunman who shot and killed a Virginia TV crew was a man dressed all in black. Cameraman Adam Ward captured the man approaching as he fired at him and reporter Alison Parker. The shooter has not yet been identified. According to the station manager Jeffrey A. Marks, it appears that the cameraman was shot first, and Parker was shot while running away.

New information is it is a disgruntled employee of the station.
Lots of guesses flying but an expert on Fox says it is strange the cameraman was shot first since the killer wanted sensationalism.
Maybe a beef between the cameraman and the shooter?

The striped thing may be a reflection, not an apron. It doesn’t conform to his body, and it fades away at the edges.It's a reflection of mini-blinds in a window that faces the TV. The dark bump in the lower right is the shadow of a head blocking the rest of the mini-blinds from view in the reflection. The other squarish items are probably on an end table near the sofa. This image was taken from someone getting a picture off the TV, and at an angle to allow for the reflections. The actual camera shot doesn't show any reflections.

Listening to the scanners and killer is now eastbound on Rt. 66. Apparently he managed to switch vehicles.
Watching the Interstate cameras online as well. State police had all traffic stopped for a while on I81 about mile marker 244....

FNN is reporting the shooter has posted video/photos of the shooting from his side.
This guy wants to go out in a blaze of glory. I hope he does so.
