A gunman killed a reporter and videographer for a CBS affiliate in Virginia in a shooting that was broadcast live Wednesday morning.
Alison Parker and Adam Ward, a reporter and cameraman for CBS Roanoke affiliate WDBJ-TV, died in the shooting, Parker's mother confirmed to CBS News.
WDBJ-TV reports that deputies from Franklin County and Bedford County were on the scene.
The shooting happened at Bridgewater Plaza in Moneta, Virginia.
Of course there will be a few that will think this guy was some kind of hero.
Oh and it could be just me, but nothing says “The firing by the station was justified” like this event.

I can easily put 5 in the black in less than 5 seconds and still have time to do a quick inspection of the target before it turns away from view, (5 second exposure)
Yes, it recoils and the older models have a slight twist to the recoil, but I do this one handed and always have.
