Ted Cruz TRUMPS Megyn Kelly on unfair question, says ‘I’m not playing the media’s game’

Ted Cruz was asked tonight the same question BillO asked Trump last night, if he would deport two illegal parents who have children that are American Citizens. But Cruz refused to answer it the way Megyn Kelly wanted him to. She accused him of dodging the question, but Cruz responded that the question that she and other mainstream media journalists want to ask is a distraction from actually fixing the problem of illegal immigration and then explained how to fix it.

Yeah, Cruz looked like he was hedging on the legal issue of birthright citizenship. He seemed to think the Constitution does grant such citizenship to illegals, whether the parents are illegal or not. That seemed to guide his non answer answer. I thought he came across badly. And mostly because he believes the 14th amendment grants illegals birthrights. He trapped himself with that previous position.
