Donald Trump, derider of Mexican illegal immigrants, insulter of POWs and GOP front-runner, kicked journalist Jorge Ramos out of a press conference Tuesday evening.
The billionaire later allowed Ramos back into the press conference, where the two engaged in several lengthy exchanges that dominated the remainder of the event. But none of those exchanges provided the moment that will be repeated in endless loops on cable TV, shared on social media and discussed in Hispanic TV-watching households across the country.
The lasting image will be that of Ramos -- who serves as Univision's lead anchor and is effectively one of the (if not the) most powerful newsmen on Spanish-language TV -- being hustled out of the room after trying to ask Trump a question. Ramos, whose nightly newscast has been known to post ratings that top those of all three major English-language network news programs, has a history of holding presidential candidates very close to fire on issues he believes to be of deep concern to Latinos, such as immigration.

I have always thought that the President should control the press meetings by NOT allowing questions from the sitting pool of reporters. Rather the reporters who want to ask a question should be required to submit those questions in writing 30 min prior to the press meeting.
The President’s staff can then collect all of the questions and where there are several that are similar, compose a question that 1) reduces the long preamble questions down to a simply worded question 2) the off topic questions can be tossed. and 3) there will be no media personalities trying to make their “bones” on gottcha questions.
During the press conference, the top few re-worded questions can be read one at a time by a staffer and the President can respond. No questions from the press. The reading would be something like:
We received the following paraphrased question from X, Y and Z ....(Read the question). This would even allow for questions to be submitted via the Internet if the President so desired.
Of course the press would scream about access but hey, “my house, my rules”. If you don’t like those rules and abide by them, I am sure there is some other individual that would like to have your seat at the press meetings.
I agree. Megyn was wrong and was “spinning”. Trump did s great job with Ramos.
There are lies of commission and lies of omission, and the press peddling this story are committing the omission one big time - neglecting to mention that Ramos stood up without being called on and continued to talk through Trump attempting to answer questions from others for several minutes before being ushered out - he kept talking loudly all the way out of the room - wonder what would have happened had someone behaved that way through one of Obama’s rare pressers.....

I saw the whole thing...Trump almost imperceptibly nodded to his security back-up who then quietly walked up to the little publicity-seeking shrimp and asked him quietly to sit down...and the little puke purposefully decided to make a celebrity out of himself by not sitting....and the big bouncer gently and peacefully walked the provocateur out of the room.
This should be good for another five points for the Donald.

They are of course spinning this like Trump did something wrong instead of the truth..Ramos acted like a spoiled child and refused to shut up and wait his turn.

He was (IIRC) last week. And you're right, he didn't shut up from the second the red light came on. Shawn tried a couple of times to get in, but Ramos kept right on yapping, wall won't work, it's racist, nation of immigrants, too much $ to deport, Illegals hard workers, jobs 'you' won't do, anchor babies US citizens. I'm sure it sounded a lot like his material today.

What’s the right word ... undocumented worker? illegal immigrant? Something else? Interestingly, outside of the US, if you happen to enter that country without papers (aka “illegally”), then most languages have just one word for that:

France................déportés
German...............deportiert
Danish.................deporteret
Hungarian............deportáltak
Slovanian.............deportirali
Norwegian............deportert
Or, alternatively, if you don’t get deported, then you may learn the meaning of one of these words:

Wow. I mean you learn from this man. He has great patience and composure. He ended by telling Ramos, “we’ll be talkin allot in the future.” Very respectful. I think Trump can speak to anyone....even a guy like Farrahkhan. The man probably taught Dale Carnegie courses.
