Though Fox News hosts remained largely silent during Donald Trump's first spat with Megyn Kelly, the channel's personalities were quick to defend their colleague Tuesday morning after Trump again decided to ridicule Kelly.
Trump had patched up his relationship with Fox after commenting that Kelly "had blood coming out of her wherever" during the first Republican presidential debate. However, on Monday night he said Kelly was "off her game" upon returning from vacation. He also retweeted a comment calling Kelly a "bimbo."
During "Fox and Friends" on Tuesday morning, co-host Brian Kilmeade said Trump's tweets attacking Kelly were "totally out of control" and "unwarranted."
"You cannot, you should not be going after her," he said. "He is totally out of bounds reigniting that fight. I don't know if he expects to get ratings out of that, or poll numbers, but he's not going to be successful."
Numerous hosts and contributors on Fox News followed suit with tweets defending Kelly and calling out Trump's retweet of a comment calling Kelly a "bimbo."

I miss everything Kelly does. I cancelled cable and Fox about a year ago. Haven’t missed the yelling and screaming and book selling and fake conservatism one bit.
I support Trump, but I wish a potential POTUS would refrain from Twitter wars with insignificant newsgirls.

I watched Megyn’s entire show last evning....& if Roger Ailes has a brain in his head...he would fire her immediately!!! The moment Megyn opend her mouth on that debate stage and took that baseless cheap shot at Donald Treump....she destroyed her career!!! Ailes broom her now......or Fox News Channel will go down!!! You can tell Megyn and your viewers...”it’s not personal, just good business”!!!

Nawwww, I love every bloody nose Trump is handing out, keep it coming. Its our turn baby. Been a long time coming. Besides he needs warm up for when he is President. I want him warmed up for kicking ass, starting now. Why wait? If he can kick some media prom queen to the curb that is one less media slime that will bite his ankles.
