Fox News Chairman and CEO Roger Ailes released a statement on Tuesday about Donald Trump's renewed war on host Megyn Kelly.
Donald Trump's surprise and unprovoked attack on Megyn Kelly during her show last night is as unacceptable as it is disturbing. Megyn Kelly represents the very best of American journalism and all of us at FOX News Channel reject the crude and irresponsible attempts to suggest otherwise.

On Tuesday morning Fox & Friends co-host Brian Kilmeade fired back, saying Trump is "out of control." At least 10 separate Fox News personalities publically rebuked Trump before noon on Tuesday, evidence that no one is being told to be nice to Trump from the powers that be.

Trump proves himself a cad and a buffoon with his late night twitter attacks on her because she had the temerity not treat him the way the Obama press treats Obama. He’s showing that he’s a fundamentally disturbed bully without any sense of proportionality. This is like when he was claiming imminent domain trying to take an old lady’s house near one of his casinos so he could park limousines there. It’s why he has been so close to the abortion Democrats; he’s a fraud.
Ah, see post 14. Apparently there was provocation.

Brian Kilmeade. You are the weakest link. Goodbye.
Same to most of FNC.
Megyn Kelly represents the very best of the Jerry Springer Show. When are you gonna have the duggars back, Meg?
Fox News knew exactly what they were doing, they planned it and it blew up in their faces....
They took a NATIONAL debate and turned it into a cheap, bordello bar brawl, they have NO ONE to blame for this except themselves....
If you want to treated as a LADY then act like one!!!
Because he called her a bimbo?
His failing is that he didn’t call Chris Wallace a bimbo too.
The whole debate was badly conducted, not just the portion having to do with Trump.
I liked The Kelly File much better without @megynkelly. Perhaps she could take another eleven day unscheduled vacation!

I saw tweets that had Trump making snide remarks about her return to the program, being “off her game” and needing another vacation, etc. Deliberate rudeness? We want this in the White House?
He said that she should take another 11 day vacation. lol Im not sure what prompted him to say it.”
He watched her show and said it was much better without her...
Trump proves himself to be a self-aggrandizing media/entertainment hack instead of a serious candidate. Who else would have the interest in broadcasting a message like that in the middle of the night?
What was is one to two tweets. Roger you you’ve outed yourself, now you will have to live with the consequences.
“conservative journalist”?? Megyn Kelly??? That’s a laugh!
Fox is supposed to host a debate again in January and Fox Business hosts in November. What will Trump do if the same three Fox people host both of them?
I love that Fox is being exposed as a Republican Elitist tool.
* YAWN *
It is good that we have a candidate starting to deal with an out of control media. Kelly set out to embarrass Trump; i.e. a “Gotcha Moment.” Her “Gotcha” attempt may have blown up in her face. FOX is more conservative than other MEDIA but it is still MEDIA. The public has allowed people like Kelly to assume they are indispensable. They are not!
