Deportations could be increased by hiring more immigration judges. X amount of judges can handle y amount of cases in a year. Doubling the number of judges doubles the cases handle per year.

One person said that Trump’s Amnesty plan is just a ruse and that he will never follow through. So, he is lying to the voters to get elected. Isn’t that what the complaint is about the present establishment?
By letting the people back in immediately Trump is proposing amnesty. He is letting people back in ahead of people that have been waiting in line and following the law. That is amnesty. But, if trump proposes it you love it. That, in my opinion is intellectual dishonesty.

It is not legal by law. A judge ruled it illegal. The ruling is on hold while ICE attempts to work it out with the courts.
The longest journey starts with the first step. Many, I think, underestimate how powerful a tool encouraging self deportation (no tax payer paid for benefits) can be. Illegal immigration is a problem that threatens the existence of a sovereign USA. It’s a problem that can no longer be ignored. Either we “solve” the problem or we join the ash heap of history.

Trump should walk in on one of his “ focus groups” and challenge him to a “real hair” contest, ruffling that rug right off his head......

Self deportation works. I am not defending Trump’s inconsistancies which you, by the way, exaggerate. Trump said let some of them back in, not all. I disagree with that also. We do not have perfect candidates.

Obama started including those apprehended at the border and turned back. Previously only those caught well inside the interior were counted as “deported”.
Regardless, some real numbers.
Operation Wetback lasted short of a year and resulted in 2.1M Illegals being repatriated. More than half that number self-deported.
So using your 11 M, we’d have this mopped up during President Trumps first year of his second term.
