Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly returned Monday night to host The Kelly File following a 10-day vacation, but her extended R & R seemed to have no relaxing effect on her loudest critic: Donald Trump.
In a series of late-night tweets, Trump accused Kelly of being “off her game,” and suggested she “must have had a terrible vacation” because she was “afraid to confront” her guest, Dr. Cornel West, on the subject of immigration.
Trump followed up his tweets with a couple of retweets from supporters who called Kelly a “bimbo” and her show “a waste of an hour on Fox.”
“The bimbo back [sic] in town,” said one tweet, which Trump reposted into his own timeline. “I hope not for long."
The Republican front-runner’s infamous feud with Kelly -- sparked in the aftermath of the first GOP debate, which Kelly co-moderated — reached a crescendo shortly before her temporary leave of absence, when Trump made a comment appearing to reference menstruation as a reason for a line of questioning he believed was unfair.
Trump went on to suggest several times that Kelly’s vacation was ordered by higher-ups at the news station as a result of the fallout from their post-debate friction.
Fox News pushed back on those claims, saying the time off was scheduled months in advance.
Unfazed, Trump repeated his allegation tonight on Twitter.
"I liked The Kelly File much better without @megynkelly,” the businessman tweeted. "Perhaps she could take another eleven day unscheduled vacation!"

It’s not so much support for Trump as disgust for Megyn.
Trump’s retweeting stuff mocking people concerned about his “tone” while the world is blowing up.
So WTF is he doing focusing on nitpicking Megyn Kelly’s show? This one-sided feud makes him a smaller, less relevant candidate.
You admired Nixon? Nixon was the original divider and chief. Nixon was obsessed and his obsession brought him down. Much like Dan Rather.
She’s obviously attractive, but her bird nose bothers me. Oh well I never watch her, or FOX, anyway.

That is interesting. Beck has flip flopped about not covering Trump. Said his show wouldn’t, but then, there’s Beck...being ALL ABOUT TRUMP, every chance he gets.

I think she’s intelligent but I think she’s also a bit lost.
Trump needs to back away from the phone. Originally I was happy that he was in the race. Now.....not so much.
I think the only person that can beat Trump is Trump.
If he keeps engaging in these petty feuds, it will cost him the Presidency.
He should be spending time explaining specifics of his agenda instead of engaging in this adolescent Twitter drama.

For all of you Trumpettes who like to say that Trump is a “fighter” or is in a “pig fight” or is “battling the media,” or some such, just look at what he’s actually doing. He’s engaging in meaningless, petty Twitter feuds. So, please, don’t try to frame him as some sort of brave fighter, standing up for his principles.
Spoken like a true Dem or Media-type. Take your pick.
