Fiorina supporters slam 'ludicrous' CNN debate methodology

Carly Fiorina supporters are criticizing CNN's debate criteria that could prevent the former Hewlett-Packard CEO from grabbing a spot on the main stage at the second debate despite her surging poll numbers.  They say that CNN's decision to include polls from before the first presidential debate will work against Fiorina, who didn't make the main stage at the Aug. 6 Fox News debate in Cleveland but surged after a strong performance during the undercard debate.

"Ludicrous," was how Katie Hughes, communications director for CARLY for America super-PAC supporting Fiorina's campaign, termed it.

"The political class is *still* trying to keep her off the main debate stage, if you can believe that," argued Sarah Isgur Flores, Fiorina's deputy campaign manager, in a fundraising email to supporters on Friday.

I didn't say I wanted her to be President. I said that it is a good thing for the GOP that she makes the debate stage.

There is a difference you know. I did oppose her in the CA-GOP Senate primary.

If Carly stays away from initiating UNprovoked attacks on others candidates on stage, she is a good visual on stage. But she can not control herself because she is desperate to improve her poll numbers. She attacked Trump in her opening statement during first debate, even though Trump was not with her in the kiddie debate.

She shot off her mouth after the first debate. She'll get more brazen with more notice too, which is fine. The point is that she'll flame herself on her own merits and policy preferences, evidently having nothing to do bias among conservatives that she is a woman. The perception will be that she was treated fairly.

I’m not voting for Carly but with this kind of Cr*p, the RNC will fall a few pegs down, (if possible), should they not fight for Carly to be on that stage! I thought I learned my lesson with Perot, but I’d seriously consider a 3rd party vote this time around. RNC = NO STONES
