Florida Sen. Marco Rubio is declining to comment directly on Republican presidential campaign rival Donald Trump's immigration policy, which would repeal the 14th Amendment's guarantee of citizenship to immigrant children born in the U.S.
But he adds during a press conference at the Iowa State Fair that there are immigrants who, in his opinion, misuse the intent of the provision.
Standing with Iowa Sen. Charles Grassley near the livestock pavilion, Rubio says: "There are people that come to the United States deliberately for the purposes of having a child that's a U.S. citizen."Unlike Trump, Rubio says: "I'm not in favor of repealing the 14th Amendment."
Like several Republicans who spoke about the issue Monday, he says: "I am open to exploring ways of not allowing people in, who are coming here deliberately for that purpose."

Children of Mexican mothers are subject Mexico??
Rubio sounds like Geraldo Rivera, delusional in their defense of Illegals.
Round em ALL up and send em back from where they came,
You are right, and Orrin Grant Hatch will still be there to sponsor those “nominations”. UT people will never understand.
The American people don’t understand the Supreme Court. We are doomed forever.
I can hear them building the hanging scaffold for Rubio. You can hear the hammering. They are just about done and are getting the rope ready. His political neck will fit just fine in it. He has just sealed his sentence. He is toast. Wow!
The Trump curse is alive and well!!!!!!
“Donald Trump’s immigration policy, which would repeal the 14th Amendment’s guarantee of citizenship to immigrant children born in the U.S.”
Another reporter who hasn’t read the 14th amendment and done his homework on this issue. The 14th amendment does not provide for citizenship for anchor babies. This idiocy just keeps being repeated.
“I dont know how they have gotten away with allowing the offspring of illegals to be declared citizens this long.”
I don’t either. How many other countries do the anchor baby thing?
Works for me :)
Denial is a river in Egypt
Indeed : )
So, I wonder if ISideWith.com will update its survey. Not that it matters. It already said I side with Rubio 96% of the time, which was utterly ridiculous.
Guessing their system is screwed up in a "garbage in, garbage out" way.
....”One can hope...and pray, because that is what it is going to take”....
I have no indication that God is going to change the direction this country is heading....the corruption is so very thick and the Demorats are not going to let loose of their grip that easy.....they will try and set the votes....corruption abounds with grandstanding, rather than shame, for being so!
That’s why we have to WORK and PRAY. it will take both.
Also, IMHO, God in Heaven, will also not stand idly by forever while a nation as blessed as ours turns its back on Him and commits not only such horrible behavior, but out and out depravity, dismemberment and murder.
One day He will weigh in...and if we are unable to turn the tide (and I still think with a lot of hard work and His help that we can), but if He has to set things aright Himself one day, it will not be pretty.
An election isn't going to cure the heart of man.....
You are absolutely correct, an election itself certainly will not cure hearts...but depending on how an election goes, it can most certainly be an indication of change that is occurring within hearts.
Time will tell...but prayer and hard work can only help...particularly if millions of us do so.
II Chron 7:14
“Im counting the days until we say goodbye to the duplicitous creature Rubio as he leaves the Senate on his last official day of work there in January 2017. “
with Hillary down, old boy Marco may do a Crist and switch parties and become their nominee.
He is certainly capable
‘Marco the Rube.. literally putting himself OUT of the race.”
Don’t be too sure that, with Hillary down, the Dems may draft Rubio as nominee. pulling a Crist or Spectre.
