Florida Sen. Marco Rubio is declining to comment directly on Republican presidential campaign rival Donald Trump's immigration policy, which would repeal the 14th Amendment's guarantee of citizenship to immigrant children born in the U.S.
But he adds during a press conference at the Iowa State Fair that there are immigrants who, in his opinion, misuse the intent of the provision.
Standing with Iowa Sen. Charles Grassley near the livestock pavilion, Rubio says: "There are people that come to the United States deliberately for the purposes of having a child that's a U.S. citizen."Unlike Trump, Rubio says: "I'm not in favor of repealing the 14th Amendment."
Like several Republicans who spoke about the issue Monday, he says: "I am open to exploring ways of not allowing people in, who are coming here deliberately for that purpose."

I’m counting the days until we say goodbye to the duplicitous creature Rubio as he leaves the Senate on his last official day of work there in January 2017. Good riddance to old trash.
And to think, I voluntarily worked a little on his primary Senate campaign against Charlie Crist while I WAS ON VACATION WITH MY FAMILY IN FLORIDA. My wife said I was crazy...turns out she was right. Rubio sure had me fooled.
They wouldn't get "standing." We've already seen how this game works out when people don't have the right to challenge Obama's qualifications.
If they can't challenge the "Precedent's qualifications (someone who affects us all) due to lack of standing, how will they challenge anyone's?
The court will assert that "nobody is injured (in the legal sense) by the citizenship bestowed on such people, and therefore the case is dismissed for a lack of standing to sue."
I just pray that if President Cruz gets to fill some Supreme Court vacancies all of his appointees will understand that whatever 5 out of 9 Supreme Court Justices have decreed a different 5 out of 9 Supreme Court Justices can reverse.
This kind of crap might help him get re-elected in Florida. Rubio sinks lower and is shown to be a panderer to the Hispanic vote/
When Ann Coulter's Hot, she's Hot.
Thank you for the link!
You're welcome! Here's another! (This time it's George Will)
Trump said he will deport all illegals:

The other candidates havent even said the word “deport” because they are owned by their big donors that donate millions
Only Trump will deport. Only Trump can save America now
Isn't Cruz also pushing recurrent elections for Supreme Court positions? Making them stand for election might solve a lot of problems.
I dig the two-for-one special myself-
#RedMeatLies
Yeah : )
“Marco the Rube”.. literally putting himself OUT of the race.
Did Rubio says something? I can’t ever hear him, his HUGE ears mesmerize me.
Time to go back to being Chuckie Schumer’s toy poodle.
I actually think that would make the situation even worse.
Just do away with the lifetime appointments. Give them staggered 12 year terms, so no President can appoint all of them but whenever the Court gets too far out of whack a majority can be replaced within 8 years.
and adding to the prodigious piles of bullsh1t...
It actually isn't a topic I have much contemplated because it's actualization is still too problematic. Till it becomes more likely to happen, i'm not going to contemplate it much.
But your idea has merit. Anything is better than what we have now.
Thanks. I’m glad George found something he could write about with some credibility.
All that matters to me at this point is electing a CONSERVATIVE President and maintaining Republican control of the Senate in 2016.
If we end up with either Hillary or Jeb as President or Chuckie Schumer as Senate Majority Leader then we can kiss the Supreme Court goodbye for another generation.
Marco Rubio, Mark Zuckerberg’s personal senator.
So Rubio is mouthing a fallacy and I bet he knows it too.
