Congrats to you! My story is exactly the same except my quit date was April 1, 2014. Had NO intention of quitting that day. Never crossed my mind. I see some people vaping at lunch that day, asked them about it, went to the local vape store and walked out with the equipment I needed. Haven’t smoked a cigarette since. And I was a pack and 1/2 a day smoker for 45 years.
Anyone trying to curb e-cigs in ANY fashion can go straight to hell. I feel GREAT!
Thanks!
We are apparently the exception, rather than the rule.
I heard a blurb on the news lately that the average smoker who tries to quit using vape ends up quitting smokes for:
30 days
So we are exceptional!
Thanks again.
Most people will never know how bad smoking really is, as I smoked a bit more than you.
And a different study. Go figure.
E-cigarettes are 95 percent less harmful than tobacco: UK study

Less harmful, if and only if, they don’t convert a new generation of kids into smokers.
If that becomes a problem maybe the government will give up their cut and just outlaw cigarettes. But government has a pretty strong addiction also.
There is no way on Gods green earth that anyone, infant child or adult, could ever switch from delicious watermelon and peach flavors to inhaling carbon monoxide.
It would be like going from filet mignon, lobster and chocolate truffles to eating dirt and Treebark.
