State Department Accused Of ‘Incompetence’ After It ‘Finds’ 81,000 Clinton Aide Emails

The State Department says it has more than 81,000 state.gov emails from a top Clinton aide at the State Department despite the agency’s past claims that it did not have such records.

The discrepancy, which has led to accusations that the State Department is either “lying” or “incompetent,” is laid out in the agency’s Aug. 13 response in a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit filed by Gawker.

In Sept. 2012, the website filed a FOIA request for emails Clinton aide Philippe Reines sent to reporters at various news agencies. The State Department responded in July 2013, saying that it found no responsive records.

Gawker followed up with an appeal saying it is “difficult to believe” that Reines sent no emails on his state.gov account given that some of his emails had already been published at the time.

JF'nK's State Department wants the benefit of holding up the process by letting investigators make an absolute count to keep from wondering whether prosecutors should bring 17,000 felony counts or merely a number like 8,000 felony counts.

Clinton obviously is thousands of times worse than Benedict Arnold, who earned his name being synonymous with treason for centuries.

Hillary says she never sent classified info through her private email. She didn’t have a government email. So, I guess she’s saying she never sent any emails that had classified information. She must have been kept totally in the dark. To say that is saying something negative about Obama. Will she do it?

The article stated that he “ALSO” turned over two boxes of emails from his personal account/s. That means he provided the personal/official emails over that had been transmitted on personal accounts, (commercial), in paper form and some may be from his back and forth with Hillary. I wonder if he had a Clinton.com address also?

I think they are right. And every election they promise to change the bureaucracy in Washington. But, it gets worse. I mean at this point, the way they operate is so far over the top. They lie to our faces and assume we will forget in a couple of weeks. I mean the boldness of their insulting behavior is out of control. And the selectivity of who is pursued for prosecution is actually frightening..
