Disagree on the end game; it was a brave thing to do to try and shield the young girls and sacrifice herself lest she endanger their escape. What a brutal lesson she learned.

Poor, naive little girl, sheltered in the cocoon of liberalism and she drank the koolaid. And as Tony Montana said, “look at you now.”

Agree.

I can see both her bravery in getting the other girls to safety, and the human tragedy of her final existance and death.

But, also, the fact that sometimes in life your purpose is to serve as a warning to others. In looking at what happened to her I’m reminded of that guy who went up to Alaska to commune with bears, and his frightened screams as one of his “bear friends” ate him.

Um no.

We know ISIS is committing rape and murder.

This woman went over there to prove they don’t.

If this woman was from an area that had been overrun with ISIS and she couldn’t get out, then her actions would have been heroic.
