Why? How much unemployment of US citizens will be enough for him? Why did he promise the Chamber of Commerce that he would get them this, “to help Americans?”

Cruz basis his support for H1B visas upon two facts which he alleges: 1) there are thousands of STEM jobs going unfilled for want of qualified employees; 2) H1B visas bring in technically skilled people with great talent and entrepreneurial drive who create jobs for Americans.
Does anybody have data on these assertions?

Interesting thing I was reading in Cruz’s book.
At the age of 14, he began to intensely study and to memorize the Constitution. He became a member of a student group that traveled around Texas, giving speeches on our founding documents. By the time he graduated high school, Ted had eighty speeches under his belt.
This is where our focus needs to be...we need a lifelong Constitutional conservative in the White House.
Shoot, other candidates haven’t even MENTIONED the Constitution.
