An unpatrolled border fence is useless. The Israelis build great border fences but also intensively patrol them so no terrorists get through. You need rapid armed response to all intrusions.

I think Trump is aware and would agree. I wouldn’t doubt one bit that that is - or at least part of - his plan to get them *deported*.

I would guess that most people from Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, etc. do not fly in and overstay visas.
I didn’t know. I guess if we just sent them back as soon as they cross instead of taking them to centers and then letting them bail out if they promise to come for a hearing that would help.
And it would pay for itself by being a tourist attraction.
