Trump gives kids helicopter rides at Iowa State Fair

Billionaire businessman Donald Trump offered kids helicopter rides in a show of wealth as he bragged Saturday that he is willing to spend $1 billion on his presidential campaign.

"I'm turning down so much money," Trump said at a press conference kicking off his weekend trip to Iowa to visit the State Fair, with his black helicopter emblazoned with "Trump" and children standing in the background.

Trump touted turning down a $5 million donation offer this week before saying he would spend $1 billion on his 2016 Republican presidential bid "if I had to."

"Nobody else would do the job that I will do," Trump said, mentioning jobs, the military, care for veterans and the "catastrophe" of ObamaCare, which he said he would get rid of.

Obama talks jobs too and “lead in every fricking” state too.

That hardly makes your case.

Thank you. There are maybe a dozen of these folks who go from thread to thread disrupting and annoying. Apparently is some strange attempt to sway your vote. You have to humor them.☺ What's odd many seem really angry about Trump. But just the other day many were saying there is lots of time before the election. Apparently there is no time for a 4 hour break for some kids.

This guy can't even do something great for the rural kids up in Iowa without these folks bad mouthing the man.

I was fortunate enough to go up in a chopper a few times when I was in my early teens. It was one of the most exciting things I did back then. Today I do anything to go up, as long as it's not flying commercial.☺

I`m still a Cruz supporter but, IF he`s turning down the same chamber of commerce oligarchs that have bought and sold the Goobermint, that at least says something positive about him.

repeatedly telling the truth is only “annoying” to the philosophically unwashed.

LOL, you are so right. Guess I’m just tired tonight and low on humor. Yes, they do seem so unreasonably angry.

No, you`re just proving that you`ve got ulterior motives. (And I`m still a solid Cruz supporter.)

'the republican party'? I`d maybe give a cr@p, a real, honest to goodness steamer, for your republiCrat party!

After the betrayals those traitors have heaped on the very same Conservative voters duped again into voting the Crat plantation by the sycophant Crat crowd here and else where, we`re supposed to care for them?

REALLY!?! MAN, YOU`VE GOT GALL!!!

Perry was leading but only had been in the race for 3 days and then quickly flamed out. Perry was horrible in the debates. He was having health problems and couldn't campaign aggressively. He was having trouble raising money.
Trump is having none of those problems and has been in the race a lot longer and has stood up to the tests that Perry failed at. Things can change, but the Perry comparison does work with Trump.

Donald Trump may be the only candidate ever for POTUS who would experience a step down in standard of living by winning the election. :)

It’s ok to envy successful people. Don’t be mad just enjoy the show. No other politician can speak for how me feel and be heard. Ted Cruz is great but doesn’t have mega phone. Imagine the Donald as president, all other nations will be put on notice

“I’ll vote for a pro-abortion”
Abortion was decided decades ago and is used as an emotional wedge issue each year to no avail other than to just talk about it. Nixon didn’t touch it, Carter didn’t touch it, Reagan didn’t touch it, Bush, Clinton, Bush, Obambi, none of them. In fact unless this becomes a state issue away from the Feds it’s here for decades more. Each President mentioned above and dozens more down the road will do nothing with respect to this so I’m just lost on why we keep bringing it up as if by some magical wand and click of a finger it will magically vanish if this election a real conservative becomes president.

“pro-ACA” (said earlier he’d overturn it however not a single repug has done squat to “really overturn it”

” pro-gay marriage”
SCOTUS has decided on this so unless we get a true conservative judgeship this dog has hunted. Gay marriage unfortunately is here to stay and nothing (as of now other than talking about it will change that fact)

“pro-gun control liberal democrat for the republican nomination.”
Unless there is a majority democrat Congress nothing will change with respect to guns. The Deminrats had a super majority for 2 years and nothing at all was done so I don’t think if Trump should make it nothing will be done.

Right now the country is drowning in debt, jobs are nonexistent and China is taking over the world. For once in my lifetime is love to see a real businessman take the helm only to see if he can turn this ship around. All the issues cited above have been issues for decades and we still churn. However we are on the verge of bankruptcy and should that bell till the wedge issues won’t be the first things we think of to save the republic it’ll be where am I getting my ration of bread

Obama? Never signed ONE paycheck on the FRONT in his entire life. Never ran even a hot dog stand for profit. Obama knows about job creation as much as the average man on the street knows about quantum physics.

And Obama did NOT lead in every state. Hillary beat him in many states, including New Hampshire.
