I wonder if an involved president would be able to order EPA officials into the oval office and start firing some asses?

Why is Gina McCarthy and all the other EPA Officials out there not being personally fined $10,000 a day until this mess is cleaned up? If we caused it the Government would charge us that amount.

A silly question. Of course the toxic spill by the EPA was intentional, friends. That's how they justify their illegal existence. They create their own messes to clean up with tax dollars.

“There are some who think that EPA types are setting forest fires to drive people out of rural areas.”

There was no question about this in Ferry County, WA when I was there around 2001. It was common knowledge that these people were attempting to burn the locals out. Coincidentally, Ferry County is on the northern US-Canada border.

Am with you. When I first saw this story days ago, deliberate sabotage was my first thought. The EPA has too much experience to accidentally bungle this operation. The only question I had was: why? The answer is supplied by the post.

Typical government mobsters - “Pay us to protect you - otherwise we’ll break you and your place up”

No bureaucrat ever wants to solve the problem they’re working on - it would put them out of a job.

They’ve just taken it to the next level by creating and exacerbating problems to grow their little empires.

The EPA behaves like any bureaucracy - its first and foremost concerned with itself.

Why people persist in believing that the government has their interests at heart confounds me.
