He’s brought himself to the forefront of issues, which has virtually drowned out any real talk on immigration. Meanwhile he supports a weapon iced version of amnesty.

If media hated him, he wouldn’t get attention and would be in low single digits. Instead the media does everything possible to raise his numbers. You figure it out.

This is nothing but a transparent attempt to get conservatives to disown Trump, thereby reducing his potential voter base.

I don’t like that Trump is making a mockery of the process. I love it!

What is the process we have now and where has it gotten us?
We have been invaded by illegals! Who are taking jobs and using our services?

Time to turn this rigged, criminal, game over!

If you changed Trump to Cruz in this post you would get hundreds of responses.

You figure it out.

I am all for tax reform.
However, Trump said he is for simplifying the tax code. and is open to considering a flat/fair tax.
Now i am not that smart, i would consider voting for Trump that should tell you right there i am not very smart, but isn’t simplifying the tax code first a realistic way to go?

I know we all say shut em’ down and the like but in case you haven’t noticed we are not getting very far with that approach.
We are not getting anywhere. It seems to me the only thing we have been winning at is losing?

I can’t quite figure that out? Can you?

Mrs smith nailed it with this:

“His appeal to conservatives AND ‘moderates’ is just why the political industry in America hates him. His ‘moderates’ appeal is killing the GOPe candidates. Bush would be sitting on a fat lead now if not for Trump. “

I watched trump speak for the first time last night. He was in NH and cspan covered the entire event. It was entertaining, to say the least, but what really struck me were the calls made to cspan at the end. More than half of the democrats and all of the independents agreed with the republican callers voicing support for Trump. Let that sink in for a moment. It was quite startling to me but this man resonates with an America starved for an answer to open borders and progressive deficit spending (as echoed by the comments). If he seeks counsel from solid conservatives and crafts policy accordingly, this would be the GOPe and progressive Dems worst nightmare, a single candidate uniting the middle class. Those who easily dismiss this man and what is going on here are missing this point.

Oh PLEASE, never miss a NYT article LOL These ‘folks’ have ceased to be relevant. They are much like one of the three blind mice found in the kitchen and the lifeless corpse will be carried out in due time. The fact that they even contribute The Donald with the label of Republican says it all. The moderate only shows the contemptible entity that lies under their skin. If The Donald were moderate, would he reach out to Jeff Sessions to work with him on immigration? If The Donald were moderate would Dr. Carson say ‘I believe Donald Trump is a good thing for the Republican party? Would our true hero -Ted Cruz- be on board with The Donald riding in the clown car as other members of the clown party go about the country winning hearts and minds of the ‘uninformed, unintelligent’ people in the states across the fruited plains

The Donald is a Show Man -an artist at setting the stage and knowning how to close the deal when the iron is hot. Think of this as The Apprentice and he will be the winner. He has the smarts, the spunk the passion to carry forward.

No Rino is for building a wall between the US and Mexico and getting rid of illegals - all of them - including the ones Obama has illegally dealt out green cards to.

On the other hand, I am sure Trump is not a pure conservative, on everything either.

The New York Times is a socialist mouth piece and they are trying to weaken Trumps numbers with conservatives. Could back fire on them, though, and move moderates from the uniparty and into Trump’s camp.
