I had the most unusual conversation yesterday, this really happened: I don't know why this black man chose me or asked this, but unsolicited, no hello, nothing, he asks me "Are you voting for Donald Trump?"
I was thrown a little off balance by this, so I returned: "Are you?"
He said, "I think he's crazy."
I smiled and asked, "But are you voting for him?"
His answer: "I think so. The sane people are killing us."

Trump has (and I’m not sure I can pull this off) cred’ — he goes forward all the time, doesn’t apologize, anyone who complains he lets them have it, and he’s pantsed the great and powerful (including media shills) which is vastly entertaining. Saying, “wall off Mexico and make them pay for it” — how could that NOT resonate?

I have spoken to two older black people this weekend and both of them started to talk about their support of Trump. The conversation was not political, they just started talking.
Focus was illegal immigration, crime, and jobs.
