During a discussion on Thursdays The Five about the Planned Parenthood videos, liberal co-host Geraldo Rivera suggested to fellow co-host Greg Gutfeld that aborted babies should made into dog food and after claiming that he want[s] a cure to various diseases using baby parts, Gutfeld schooled him by informing him that he hope[s] you live long on the backs of dead fetuses.
In the first of many flare-ups in the programs opening segment, Bolling expressed his horror at the contents of the videos and allegations theyve unearthed but was sharply rebuked by Rivera as he suggested that Bolling views Planned Parenthood as bad because youre against abortion.
When Bolling responded by stating that undergoing an abortion is a life-altering experience, Rivera told him its not and went onto proclaim what supposedly constitutes a good abortion:
You know what a good abortion is? A good abortion is in a clean place where the woman's health is protected as opposed to a back alley as opposed to a back alley where the woman dies where some butcher cutting her to pieces. Why do you think weve got Roe v. Wade and the rest of this....This is baloney.
Minutes later, Gutfeld brought up the claims of the sixth video that Planned Parenthood does not seek the consent of using aborted baby parts from women while Rivera outlandishly raised this hypothetical about how to use aborted babies: What if I want to make it dog food?
With his fellow co-hosts audibly disgusted at Rivera, Gutfeld lashed out:
You just proved my point. If you want to make it dog food, what's the difference? You are repurposing the unborn child to enhance your present living desires and that you do not have the choice for and in terms of bringing up rape and incest, when did I say I was against abortion for that? You're using that as a strawman argument.
Gutfeld continued pressing by quizzing Rivera about whether or not he wants the fetus to go to waste, Rivera tried to pave some kind of moral high-road by claiming: I want a cure for cancer. I want a cure for heart disease and Parkinson's disease and Alzheimers.
It was then that Gutfeld schooled his liberal co-host: God bless you. I hope you live long on the back of dead fetuses, Geraldo...No, Im using your argument. I'm validating your argument. You want to live longer on the back of fetuses.
Instead of laying back, Rivera slammed Gutfeld and told him to bury your head in the sand and ignore the reality of how medicine gets done, how research gets done.
Eventually, The Greg Gutfeld Show host blasted Rivera and pro-choicers as claiming to have moral underpinnings that are actually corrupted by selfish human desire and the hope of living a longer life.
Earlier in the segment, there were two uncredited mentions to the latest work from the Media Research Centers Katie Yoder chronicling how the major broadcast networks have spent only 0.008 percent of their coverage on the Planned Parenthood videos since the first one was released on July 14.
In one such hat tip, Gutfeld blasted the group Funny or Die for mocking the videos and joked that they would have been great propagandists for Stalin with fetal research built on a mountain of immorality: [I]ts a shared immorality for all of us and I think if that's why if you look at the media, there's like .008 percent of the media has been devoted to these videos. That's less than Tom Brady and it's simply because of guilt.
Perino then confirmed that number in her next comment before asking Bolling if he had watched the latest video.
The relevant portions of the transcript from FNCs The Five on August 13 can be found below.

GREG GUTFELD: It's a shame that Funny or Die didn't exist generations ago cause they would have been great propagandists for Stalin. Who decides at this point what's valuable and when? At 1:00 p.m., the fetus is not valuable so you can abort it. At 1:30 p.m., the fetus is not valuable and can be used to save other fetuses that cross the finish line. So, how does this work? Fetal research is built on a mountain of immorality and its a shared immorality for all of us and I think if that's why if you look at the media, there's like .008 percent of the media has been devoted to these videos. That's less than Tom Brady and it's simply because of guilt. We all feel a specific guilt that we are taking something that was once alive and using it to enhance our own lives. It's grotesque, but we accept it and so does everybody else. If they were dolphins or if they were baby cubs, at least PETA would be upset.
PERINO: It's true about the coverage. It's .008 and actually none of the videos have shown Eric, you've actually watched all the videos. Did you watch this as well?
ERIC BOLLING: I did.
PERINO: Your reaction?
BOLLING: Again, I don't recommend doing it. It's life-changing and life-altering and its horrible to watch, though what changes between 1:00 and 1:30 P.M. is the demand for the part. We have a demand for xyz part and apparently now, Planned Parenthood is now willing to go ahead and go after that part and sometimes it's an intact fetus. So look, the Funny or Die video my comment on that is it's effective if you're in that frame of mind, but its also wrong. A lot of things they said on there is wrong. You can't give $530 million to a group to say it's only for that part of the business even if you haven't separated the businesses, its one business. So, it's money in your pocket whatever you take out to pay for drugs or if you take to pay bread, it's the same pool of money. Stop giving them the money. Very quickly. Sell at cost they said they did then the video exposed it. They weren't selling it at cost. Remember, the lady drinking wine saying I need Lamborghini. Then they said we don't sell body parts and then we have the body parts in the petri dish and they say full consent in their literature and now we have another video that proves that sometimes they don't let the mother know fully or make them fully aware what they're going to use of them. They're bad. The abortion part of planned parenthood is bad. You got to stop them. Let them reopen as Planned Parenthood 2 and don't provide the services and then give them taxpayer money.
GERALDO RIVERA: That's your opinion, dude. Planned Parenthood is bad because you're against abortion. You said it was a life-altering you said it was a life-altering experience.
BOLLING: Do not do this again today. It's a life-altering experience.
RIVERA: Its not a life-altering experience.
(....)
RIVERA: You know what a good abortion is? A good abortion is in a clean place where the woman's health is protected as opposed to a back alley as opposed to a back alley where the woman dies where some butcher cutting her to pieces. Why do you think weve got Roe v. Wade and the rest of this?
BOLLING: Are you done? I'm not commenting on abortion, Geraldo.
RIVERA: This is baloney.
(....)
GUTFELD: Well, this consent thing, we're talking about the consent of the woman having the abortion for allowing the fetal tissue to be used. I don't really think she should have consent. This is not an organ to be donated. You do not this is where you have to separate the pro-choice argument from this idea of fetal dismemberment. It's a dishonest leap to put them both together to say that because I have a right to do this, I can also make a decision what to do with the cadaver no, you don't. You can be it's like saying I'm pro-Second Amendment which means I also have the right to shoot my gun wherever I want. No, you're for the right, but that doesn't allow you these other things. Basically what we've done is we've relegated dead babies.
(....)
RIVERA: What if I want to make it dog food?
GUTFELD: You just proved my point. If you want to make it dog food, what's the difference? You are repurposing the unborn child to enhance your present living desires and that you do not have the choice for and in terms of bringing up rape and incest, when did I say I was against abortion for that? You're using that as a strawman argument.
RIVERA: Why is that any less hideous to you? Why? It's still the same. You're taking away a life. Why is that mean less to you?
GUTFELD: Oh, so let me get this straight. Because you don't want the fetus to go to waste, right?
RIVERA: I want a cure for cancer. I want a cure for heart disease and Parkinson's disease and Alzheimers.
GUTFELD: God bless you. I hope you live long on the back of dead fetuses, Geraldo.
RIVERA: Oh, please.
GUTFELD: No, Im using your argument. I'm validating your argument. You want to live longer on the back of fetuses.
RIVERA: Why don't you bury your head in the sand and ignore the reality of how medicine gets done, how research gets done.
(....)
GUTFELD: That would be a start. Find out the facts.
RIVERA: You don't know them any better than I.
KIMBERLY GUILFOYLE: Thats why there should be an investigating
GUTFELD: I know the moral underpinnings of your argument. The moral underpinnings of your argument are corrupted by selfish human desire. You are a selfish human being because you want to live long.
Geraldo makes me miss Beckel....kinda.
Molech. The American people through abortion have regressed back to the worship of Molech. This is what democrats call being progressive. Solomon reminds us there is nothing new under the sun. Democrats have proved this. They are going back to Sodom, and back to Babylon, to worship other gods. And they are proud of it and think it’s new and exciting.
Incredible
Rivera? The guy who publicly posts naked photos of himself in a hotel room? Somebody’s laid a magnet on his moral compass.
To date the use of fetal tissue has given zero medical advances of any kinds - unless you count the growth of cancerous teratomorphs.
Adult stem cells on the other hand have show excellent results.
The only reason to use fetal tissue is as a sacrifice to Moloch.
I heard this on “The Five” on Sirius Radio as I drove home from work.
Geraldo attempted to bully both Bolling and then Gutfeld by shouting over them and constantly interrupting.
He is the worst kind of bully: one who is also a moron.
Gutfeld has utter disdain for Jerry Rivers. I’ve noticed when I happen to catch to show.
...”Molech. The American people through abortion have regressed back to the worship of Molech. This is what democrats call being progressive. Solomon reminds us there is nothing new under the sun. Yes. This situation has reminded me of the idol worship found in the Bible since I heard about it. Has that kind of idolatry throughout history always ended with a connection to sexuality and human sacrifice? In my mind, it is just so obviously Satanic.
In Romans 1, Paul tells us that God eventually turns them over to a debased mind. When those who march in the streets demanding that we kill the children and engage in sexual immorality and glorified, and then have the backing of the President who calls those of us who flee from sin the “immoral ones” we know we have arrived at those times the Apostles and Jesus told us about.
What is right is now wrong, and wrong has become right.
I saw this conversation and my hat is off to Greg for his very astute comment to Geraldo. However, we now know that Geraldo, in regard to abortion and the selling of the baby parts, is not just using the talking points of the Progressives he loves. He really feels very devoted to the idea and to Planned Parenthood. It seemed that any opposition or reasoned debate about what is going on, to him, were fighting words. It just makes me shake my head in “wonderment”. That kind of passion often comes from some kind of personal experience with the issue.
Whorealdo, name me one, just one, cure that was discovered using anything from aborted babies.
I miss Bob...
Oh I am sure Jerkaldo has sent many a girlfriend to Planned Parenthood to be rotor rooted out and cleaned of any Jerkaldo spawn.
Don’t forget this is the same parasite that while making hundreds of thousands on TV, applauds his son and family signing up for Free Obamacare.
He won’t pay out to help his own spawn but in his warped drug damaged mind we should.
Isn't it remarkable though people have no problem with humans being used by scientists for research but will raise holy Hell if you use an animal?
For good reason. Why is "Geraldo" still polluting the airwaves? He's never contributed anything.
Although Gutfeld annoys me, he strikes close to the heart of pro-abortionists . . . they ALL worship the god of "Me". . . and Geraldo is one of the high priests of "Me".
