Meant to post about this story when it was in the news a few weeks ago. As a Christian, I have reservations about the death penalty, but not about life in prison. Another article I read about this said he was giving a life sentence in the murders but it was somehow reduced to 40 years. I'll have to look that up again. He shouldn't have been let out to commit more crimes.

He isn’t done yet. Only evil or stupid fools let someone like this out of prison.

The swift implementation of the death penalty would have eliminated the heartache and pain this subhuman being has caused.

Where are the relatives of those children? This guy would have been fed into a wood chipper by now.

He was probably too busy getting ready to lead a Boy Scout troop and forgot to register. It happens.

If we gave a damn about out children, we’d make the punishment on these types so horrific, any child could roam the streets 24/7 without fear.

Guess what, the Indianapolis Marion County Public Library (Central Library) has a very large Children’s Library on the first floor.

Here’s the argument for 3 strikes laws and I certainly hope they have one, otherwise this man may kill another child.

He is one EVIL looking guy.

All child molestion offenses should be made eligible for the Death Penalty.

If anyone is convicted of a repeat child molestation offense- Death Penalty needs to be automatic.

“The details surrounding his arrest were not immediately available, but Dobeski had seven days to register as a sex offender or face going back behind bars.”

According to other news sources at the end of the article, the police were following him, he left town and as soon as his 7 days elapsed, they picked him up.

40 years in prison, then a molestation, now this? Sounds like he’s institutionalized. All he’s got to do is get around kids, and he knows he’ll be taken back where he’s comfortable. And it worked - again.

I don’t have the same reservations about capital punishment that you have but I respect your position. Either way this was entirely avoidable based on the perp’s background.

As a Christian I DO NOT have reservations about the death penalty, properly applied.

Apply liberally.

A sane society would make the parole board face the family of the child victim.

In some states, 40 years is considered life. Unless “without parole” was attached, he’d be released as having served his full term. Remember back in the ‘70s when they did away with the death penalty so many who were on death row got out. Of course, that didn’t turn out very well for their new victims.

Indiana stopped executions in 1861 and did none for 20 years.
