Donald Trump on arrest of illegal immigrant for SF murder Never autoplay videos
NBC entertainment chairman, Bob Greenblatt, had two words Thursday on whether Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump would ever return as host of "The Celebrity Apprentice:" Absolutely not.
Greenblatt said that the show will not be back next season, but will return in the future with a new host.
NBC cut ties with Trump in June days after he made critical comments about Mexican immigrants and NBC canceled its airing of the Miss USA pageant, which Univision also decided not to air.
Greenblatt said he enjoyed working with Trump when the network was still in business with him.
"He is a lovely guy. He was very much a collaborator and worked with us closely on 'Celebrity Apprentice' and, you know, there's a really effusive great guy. We weren't in any sort of adversarial position."

Ted Cruz is not a standard politician in any way.
Pinning your hopes on a TV celebrity who’s held inconsistent positions on the issues and who is intimately connected to the political class to change things rather than to just work for his own self-aggrandizement is insanity.
While I like both Cruz and Trump I am mature enough not to fall in love with one candidate, unlike yourself. I will support anyone who is truly going to “beat the parasite political class like a rented mule”.
It's unfortunate to see a Cruz supporter trying to hard to alienate the supporters of half of that potential ticket. It seems early to be rejecting so much of the demographic which is desperately seeking change in Washington.
I'm a Cruz supporter. I think Trump is OK -- I don't push him as a candidate and I am aware of his flaws. but I see a lot of people on this board who seem to put in about 40 hours a week trying to diss Trump. It's crazy.
And, Frankly, since Trump and Cruz are similar and seem to get along well together, when I see a "Cruz supporter" who also seems to hate, hate, hate Trump, it really makes me wonder what's really going on.
They tried desperately to talk him out of it, but to NO avail.
This is now how NBC attempts to make it look so as to DAMAGE Trump.
One poll showed Trump only comes in 4th place with “very conservative” voters this week, I think an Iowa poll. I’m a very conservative voter.
I’m not trying to alienate or reject supporters of Trump. I’m trying to make people aware of his flaws as a potential president.
I have no objection to anyone posting criticisms of Ted Cruz. If you know something bad about him that I don’t, I want to hear about it. The idea that you get “turned off” when someone criticizes your candidate is strange and seems to show you are close-minded to learning new facts.
If Jeb was on top of the polls and half the people here were backing him, I’d be pointing out his flaws. You have to draw fire on the one who’s leading.
It’s pretty obvious that a V.P. under Trump will have no power or influence at all. And also pretty doubtful that Trump would even want to be a V.P. I wouldn’t recommend signing him on as V.P. due to his high negatives. He doesn’t add anything to the ticket because he turns off as many people as he attracts.
I have no problem backing Trump if he wins the nomination. But you can’t equally back two candidates in the primary. You have to pick one. There’s no reason to be positive about two of them. It just splits the vote in a winner-take-all primary if you endorse two candidates. This is the time to pick the best one and argue forcefully why he should win.
What is “NBC”?
Nice one. Lmao
Trump covered this in his Las Vegas speech three or four weeks ago.
“The Apprentice” w/o Trump will probably be as successful as when Alec Baldwin was trying to do radio.......
