i don’t like this schmuck but he has a point....
Let me guess: the oil companies, distributors, and gas stations make too much of a profit that should be going to the state as taxes. /s
High cost of gas in cali??? Hey Tom ask the previous governor Arnold. He passed a global warming tax on your fuel.
Three days ago I paid $1.95/gal for regular unleaded at a Costco in central Virginia. As of this morning the price at that station was $1.80 /gallon.
Not bad, in my opinion.
No doubt. I think after expenses all these folks still make like 140% profit on every gallon they sell. Uh, NOT! The assclowns think these folks make too much. How about they do it cheaper.
There is some law they are attempting to pass now that would greatly increase gas prices again and offset it by limiting the number of miles you can drive.
It also mandates gas lines.
Heard the commercial for it a few times on the radio.
California has a super majority of Democrats to pass everything and anything and they can not be stopped at this point.
Dang. Nice. Here in Reno the current lowest for reg is $3.09/gal.
They are $3.09 in Vegas. Something about a blown up California refinery.
Hmm, I wonder what causes this problem to be magnified so much more in California and not in other states.
I wonder what could be the difference....
$3.35 on base, $3.75 in town (Antelope Valley area of SoCal)
This guy is REALLY clueless.
CA is sitting on a ton of oil (we probably have at least as much as AK or TX, maybe even more) but we refuse to drill for it.
We refuse to build more oil refineries and pipelines.
We implement stringent requirement on the blends of gasoline permitted to be sold here in the People’s Republic of CA.
Then he wonders why we pay the highest gas prices in the country.
What an idiot if he is this clueless.
When it hit 2.34, Exon Mobil said that’s it we can’t make any money!
You and Steyer really have no clue as to why prices are higher in CA?
Did you read the article?
Gas prices to stay high as Exxon Mobil refinery woes drag on
http://www.latimes.com/business/la-fi-gas-prices-20150718-story.html
Combined with the special blends required in the area, making it more difficult to source gasoline from other areas.
Vegas mostly gets their gasoline from a pipeline originating in Southern California.
didn’t read it...could care less as don’t like the guy but i know this; the bottom is dropping on oil and even though its not a parallel drop, gas prices have been slow in dropping, even here in the northeast...
Wow. That is high.
"The Gas Prices Are Too Damn High!"
