'Teflon Don' is at it again. Is this for real? I mean, I know it is- but...Donald Trump? The true frontrunner for our dear GOP? I have to admit, I am still skeptical of him- but he is saying all the right things...this speech tonight even made me believe. Anyone else coming around? I've seen the polls...but how many of you really are considering voting for Trump? We should have some kind of Freeper Poll by state. This is gettin' kinda real. He can't be dismissed anymore.

It was a great speech, he is really good at it with no haughty pretense, it is like he is talking directly to you in a casual conversation. Smart guy too. He will be taking no prisoners. He is here to stay. I think he is going to take the nomination despite the blitzkrieg that is coming his way.

Yes the audio wasn’t that great, so I used earphones. Easier to hear when you plug them in.
No teleprompter really makes a difference. Trump actually comes across as warm and fuzzy. Takes a little getting used to as we are so used to politicians robotically delivering a carefully curated script.

I haven’t heard the speech, and I like what he’s doing to “politics as usual,” but beware of falling into the trap of hearing what you want to hear. Obama made his impression by uttering empty platitudes. Don’t settle for platitudes.

Your “dear old GOP” no longer exists. That GOP was hijacked several decades ago.
He used a big, important word today...flexible....not in the way Obama meant flexible to Putin...but in the idea the sometimes you start out this way and something makes you change direction.

Well aware of that, but he has also given detail in his books of what he plans to do so he is not just a lot of hot air. Besides, slogans and platitudes are effective for the LIV’s and that group is needed in order to win. The thinking voters are going to read his book or at least excerpts of it.

The RNC is pooping bricks, they’ve already been paid for an amnesty candidate.
I'm attracted to his candidacy just on the basis that he'll break more of the status quo than the others. I hold the federal government in contempt, and will support those who can "pound it down to peanut size" with minimal disruption to the rest of us.
I am pretty sure if Trump wins Cruz will be his veep so as to set up Ted for 2024. Trump thinks ahead. If Trump loses lets hope it is to Cruz. Carson is a huge longshot but I would definitely vote for him. All the others.....barf. .

When asked about donating money to Clinton campaigns and causes, Trump stated very clearly that he thinks political bribes in the way of contributions to get favors is an acceptable practice. He may have enough to buy off politicians in D.C., but he doesn’t have enough to buy my vote...not for sale.
