Flynn was not shy about admitting what by now is almost common knowledge — the Obama administration supported Islamic terrorists, including al-Qaeda, in the rebellion against the Syrian regime. “I don’t know that they turned a blind eye, I think it was a decision,” the former DIA chief said. “I think it was a willful decision.” The interviewer, Mehdi Hasan, sounding surprised at the frankness and the enormity of the revelation, said: “A willful decision to support an insurgency that had Salafists, Al Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood?” Flynn replied: “It was a willful decision to do what they’re doing.” What “they” — the administration — are doing, and have been doing, is supporting barbarians who are butchering their way through Iraq and Syria while overthrowing “apostate” rulers and slaughtering or enslaving non-Sunnis.

Next Inauguration. The new president takes the oath of office, and begins his inaugural address, “Mr Obama, you are under arrest for giving material support to terrorism. My fellow Americans...”

Can we get a transcript of Flynn’s comments?

There are a lot of improperly sourced allegations regarding whom we support and how in Syria. When the actual facts are reviewed every time the source of the allegation said nothing of the kind. This is really bad for credibility of these news organizations.

Just from reading the above synopsis I can tell this is one of those cases. The storyline is developed from stringing together a bunch of dissimilar information regarding several different factions, alliances and support to make an argument and scream “ISIS”. Some of it is really, and I mean really ignorant of the facts.

Reading and comprehending the following link will do much to dispel the guile of these articles:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Syrian_opposition

The most I can say is when things started people chose sides in a many-sided conflict which ultimately was untenable.

As far as ISIS goes we have never not opposed them. They were AQ in Iraq 04 - 09 at which time they were defeated. In ‘11 they moved into Syria to take advantage of uncontrolled areas due to the civil war for a safe-haven to launch attacks back into Iraq, culminating in their 2014 offensive.

As far as the discourse on these subjects goes it’s very tiresome. It’s akin to engaging in a late-night argument with drunken locals at a park or camp ground.

I wonder how the families of American lost on September 11th, 2001 feel about this. Or the families of our fighting men and women lost in the ME. If the son of a bitch isn’t in irons already over this he never will be. The spineless worms populating the District of Corruption are too busy trying to figure out more ways to screw the average American.

Thank you for referencing that article Velveeta. Please bear in mind that the following critique is directed at the article and not at you.

Obama’s alleged aid to terrorist is another 17th Amendment-related problem imo.

More specifically, the Founding States gave the Senate the constitutional authority to work with the House to remove lawless presidents like Obama from office. And Obama’s alleged “willful” aid to Al-Queda should certainly raise concerns in the Senate with respect to Obama possibly violating Section 3 of the 14th Amendment.

Section 3. No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof [emphasis added]. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.

But the reason that constitutional safeguards against corrupt presidents aren’t working is the following imo. Even after three election cycles after Obama’s original election, that’s enough election cycles to have replaced every member of the Senate, low-information patriots still have not elected a 2/3 Senate majority that is constitutionally required for the Senate to remove a House-impeached president from office.

I call this situation 17th Amendment gridlock.

I suppose that since God gave us two index fingers that patriots can point to both Obama and themselves to get a better idea of the real problem with the country.

Thomas Jefferson had put it this way.

“Cherish, therefore, the spirit of our people, and keep alive their attention. If once they become inattentive to the public affairs, you and I, and Congress and Assemblies, judges and governors, shall all become wolves. It seems to be the law of our general nature.” - Thomas Jefferson (Letter to Edward Carrington January 16, 1787)

The ill-conceived 17th Amendment needs to dissapear, and corrupt senators and lawless presidents along with it.
