Scott Walker has won three elections in four years while taking on the country's most entrenched special interest group the public employee unions.

He did all this in a blue state and while two pernicious special prosecutor's investigations were being conducted into his campaign finances and activities.

Walker didn't get where he is today by being anyone's "darling". There isn't a more successful, courageous or battle tested Republican candidate in the field today.

Well he sure isn’t a “darling’ as he’s had some highly questionable “hires” which would discount he’s not above putting “dirty” dogs out there to fight for him.

Not saying he’s a bad person, or that he doesn’t have cajones. But there is something about him that allows him into the GOPe tent... for now.

Still, even if his record holds and he stands up to scrutiny from the American public, there is no way the GOPe will allow Walker to get the nomination. By your account, he’s too conservative. The GOPes won’t have that because he’ll be too much of a threat to the status quo.
