NEW DELHI: In a breathtaking spectacle, Goddess Kali was projected on the Empire State Building in New York.

Artist Andrew Jones designed the portrait of the goddess to make the point that Mother Nature now more than ever needs a fierce avatar to fight the dangers of pollution and extinction, Firstpost.com reported.

Earlier images of endangered species, including Cecil the lion, were also projected on the iconic building...

The Puritans would be apoplectic about people going to church on Christmas day. :)

It's the same face the NWO types at Disney used on their 60 foot inflated "Gaia" at the 2000 Superbowl halftime show, the most amazing public spectacle of Luciferian imagery I have ever witnessed: Gaia, dancing satyrs, the druid singers complete with talit, the mystic priest, the nuptual duet, the song of the "virgin"... the whole bit. It's amazing.

Whoa...Sign, sign, everywhere a sign!

Four blood moons over the Shemitah, legalized "gay marriage" overrules the sanctity of marriage to be kept sacred and then Kali, the Destroyer, looming over the traders' capital of the world just before the Shimetah ends?

Say your prayers. "I've got a bad feeling about this."

Do not forget the Bethlehem star at the end of June (convergence of Jupiter and Venus...) That’s our promise that through all this He is even still, even yet in control.

Radical individualism, self-sufficiency, hostility to authority, and cultivated skepticism are our inheritance. Rigorous and enforced secularism may not have been the intent of all, but was baked into the cake with a Constitution that exalts autonomy answerable to no higher power and relentlessly tolerant of religious extremes that make impossible the emergence of any philosophical or spiritual consensus. America has become what it was always meant to be, a place that celebrates the ungoverned self. In such a moral and spiritual vacuum, the intrusion of evil influences is inevitable because we have discarded and essentially outlawed the means to resist.

I am no fan of Lincoln, but must concede the wisdom of his observance in the Gettysburg address, that a successful political entity cannot endure the incoherence of being at the same time two (or as at present, many more than two) incompatible things. America will collapse as a consequence of the structural defects present at its beginning.

Yeah, buddy, I know that's all true. And if I was still a worrier, that would have me very worried!

See, I just wish we'd have known that truth and taken it to heart before we got busy filling His Cup of Wrath.

Here, many miles away in my office and hopefully more prepared for the thief in the night, I may not be the worrier I used to be, but if I lived in NYC I definitely would be.

Ground Zero elected Zero and seems to have welcomed all he brought with him and much more.

That reminds me, I wonder what Lot's wife's last words were...

I see your points, but I think that many of these same qualities were strengths, while we followed Jesus Christ (e.g. radical individualism, self-sufficiency, hostility to authority, and cultivated skepticism of government). We did not need a king, because Jesus Christ was our soon coming king. We did not need to force a religion because we had the law of God written on our hearts.

God's natural law was weaved into our constitution and bill of rights. And a strong form of Christian peer pressure helped many wayward ones to come to the truth. But when you pull the rug out, i.e. get rid of Christianity, it all falls apart.

Hinduism is not for the literal types. Hinduism is all symbolic that uses metaphors that describes the realities beyond our five senses. It fills the gap between the images of the unconscious and the language of conscious logic. Similar to the silence between music notes.

Kali brings the death of the ego as the delusional self-centered view of reality. It’s the Ego that sees her in her terrifying form,or the initiated.

Kali receives her name because she devours Kala (Time). Symbolically, she is like a strict school teacher-mother. She enforces karmic law, and induces changes in us through stressful events. It is not a reward / punishment system, just a learning one, through experience.

Just another in a long line of signs for people with open eyes.

Just wait until they start producing human/animal hybrids and all other kinds of abominations just like the fallen angels were doing in the days of Noah.

They are strengths for this world -- and as this world goes, America has been a tremendous success. But sub specie aeternitatis they are impediments. The kingdom of God is not such.

I wonder what heaven will be like because Judeo/Christian history since creation has been one of individual and corporate freedom. Man's propensity towards sin causes bondage, spiritual and physical. Turning back to God brings freedom, spiritual and physical. This is the "coming out" from bondage that theme that follows faith. Examples are as follows...

Abraham coming out of Babylon
Israel coming out of Egypt
Judah coming out of Babylon
Christianity coming out of dead Judaism
Church coming out of Rome...

I am not Catholic. But the Biblical God that Catholics claim to worship is the true God. Kali is a demon disguised as a god that leads men astray.

she beckons us to dive into the dark, to face the stark reality of the global ecological crisis upon us, and to let heartbreak be the ground from which we awaken and serve

Awaken and serve? Serve who or what?

Never underestimate the power of holy darkness to reveal the Soul of all matters. The dark is where illusions are shattered, where false certainties are broken; the dark is where the mind is cut off so that only the heart can see… It is time to let holy darkness be our medicine. The world as we know it must change or perish.

Who is trying to kid who? Who is misleading people?

So many of us are shedding our false selves, empty certainties and small lives, and no matter how much we wish for the safety of the old, the more desperately we hold on, the hotter the fires of the Real.

Uh...OK, no I do not want the hotter fires of the Real. Note the author capitalizes Real. Kali Takes New York: Sign Of The Times.

Freedom is not an absolute good in man. It is not an end in itself. Freedom is only an intermediate good, which we employ rightly when we use it to choose God. We are made for God, not to supplant God.

Dead things don't give birth. Jesus in this world was a practicing Jew, so I hope you are not suggesting he pursued a vain religion. Judaism is fulfilled in Jesus; Christianity is participation in his mystical body.

There is only one Church -- Jesus being not a bigamist -- and its shepherding on this earth is entrusted to the Bishop of Rome. Your rejection of this truth is a sure sign of the spiritual disorders and false assumptions I've already mentioned, which attended the genesis of America as a product of the Protestant/Enlightenment project.
