Donald Trump and the Fox News Channel are in talks about Trump possibly appearing on Fox on Monday night, according to a source with knowledge of the talks.
Trump has been lambasting Fox for days, ever since he was challenged in last week's GOP debate.
It is "highly unlikely" Trump would appear at 9 p.m. with host Megyn Kelly, the source said, and that's probably an understatement. Trump has repeatedly and personally insulted Kelly in recent days.
But talks are underway about a Trump interview with another prime time host, like Sean Hannity, the source said, adding that nothing had been confirmed as of Monday morning.
In the meantime, Fox has dramatically ratcheted down its coverage of Trump. It hasn't covered Trump's criticisms of Kelly and the two other debate moderators, Chris Wallace and Bret Baier.
Trump's most recent tweet about Fox came on Sunday afternoon: "It amazes me that other networks seem to treat me so much better than Fox News. I brought them the biggest ratings in history, and I get zip!"
This is a true clash of titans. Fox News is the favored network of Republicans, and Trump is the Republican campaign front-runner.

Made up my mind then and there to skip the debate as it would be a certain hatchet job on everybody on stage except for Fox's "Chosen" one(s).
Moderators don't need doozies. They need to get the core beliefs of the candidates to come forth.
I actually watched the Don Lemon thing with Trump and am definitely going to watch whatever dweeb is opposite Bloody Megyn tonight in protest. They all have the same colored blood-green, coming from wherever.

He said the same thing bout Chris Wallace. He said he meant “nose”. No way do I believe he was referring to her period, unless Chris Wallace was having one as well.

Depends on whether O’Reilly and Hannity are big enough to tell their bosses they are not going to trash Trump.
The Megyn Kelly thing seemed to overshadow the way Bret Baier actually was trying to LECTURE Trump on the first question. Idiotic and arrogant. Moderators should be neutral and stay in the background.
I wrote that and I think it was taken wrong. I was trying to convey the way the MSM asks questions. “Are you still beating your wife”.

I totally agree. Fox was way out of line and if they want to keep their ratings they better apology or they just might loose millions of Republicans. They have joined the wrong side of the war.
