It is so obvious that Erick Erickson and Jeb and the GOPe are conspiring against Trump.

And it will not work.

You notice Megyn Kelly has not responded at all. She should come out and say “everyone relax”. As a woman I knew exactly what Trump was saying. It is Erick, whose mind went into the gutter. Megyn Kelly always said she can defend herself, she doesn’t need some guy defending her. Why is she so quiet this weekend?

Hope Trump has an event in Atlanta. The crowd will be enormous. and put Erick in his place....

You know why she hasn’t commented? Because it should be a done deal! Why should she keep the feud going? Besides, her ego probably isn’t as fragile as Trumps.

I watched it and Trump was very reasonable and called the whole thing ridiculous. Like he said about the Kelly blood comment interpretation, “who talks like that?” So true.

Watching this I had what was for me, a profound revelation.

Cruz has always had my utmost confidence. But the power Trump has to both intimidate the enemies of this country and to renew the people’s hope and spirit, I would be a fool to ignore. Like a 1950’s school coach who finds the greatest quarterback arm he’s ever seen is owned by a mud with an Afro, I had to dismiss prejudice and let the results vet the package.

From the beginning I hoped Cruz would stick close to Trump, for mutual benefit, but also because I feared Trump would drop the ball and perhaps Cruz could pick it up without loss of yardage.

I have to say, to everybody, yes it’s early, but every time Trump is hit, again and again he resembles an anvil. And smashes right back like the hammer of Thor.

Somehow I previously had a formed impression when the heat was on he would get out of the kitchen, or at least start to sweat. Listening to him on CNN, he is absolutely unchanged. Laser focused, not giving nonsense time it doesn’t deserve, and right on point with his constructive plans for the country.

In complete honesty I never dismiss questions until they are fully answered. But when I questioned Trump’s will, commitment, energy to be President, those questions are dissolving like a sand castle in the rain.

I realized something else as well. We have leaders who run from reporters, limit their questions, demand questions be presubmitted for approval, or are attached to a teleprompter like a cyborg Siamese twin. It seems Trump can face plenty of opposition without flinching, is unafraid to utterly be himself, delivers and overcomes by sheer force of will. Thank you sir, may I have another.

I can take for granted that many of these things you might expect a successful cutthroat businessman to have learned in his life. But his unhesitant willingness to swim upstream in a river of s**t to bring his constructive plan and a hopeful message...this is not what you expect from the common mind picture of a greedy capitalist looking out for #1 and KMA to the world. I don’t believe he’s going through this gauntlet as part of a deep plot to aid Jeb or Hillary. I’m left with the idea that he may be doing it for us.

Tapper was so frustrated about his issue that he said "24 BILLION VIEWERS WATCHED THE DEBATE"!

Hey Jake that is 300+% higher than the total population of the World! You must have been dreaming of the number of your viewers (NOT)!

Suggestion: don't appear on: ARE YOU SMARTER THAN A FIFTH GRADER?
