There’s the problem.

With their last 0bamacare decision, the explicitly admitted “The law says, ‘this’, but we don’t like ‘this’, so we are ruling that the law says ‘that”.

Honestly, I don't think so, and honestly, I want him elected.

He's part of the "repeal and replace" crowd.

“The government of the United States shall not provide medical care to any individual nor shall it provide insurance for said medical care to any individual.”

That’s all you need.

Let the marketplace handle EVERYTHING.

I don’t recall there being “exceptions” in the Constitution.

The income tax was not only “illegal” but unconstitutional, and was repealed. But good luck otherwise. Talk to you after single payer.

That’s why it has to be so unequivocal as an Amendment that it can’t even be considered.

No, Medicare killed Medicare. Another Ponzi scheme like Social Security, the Highway “Trust Fund” and so many other unaccountable federal behemoths. Benjamin Franklin’s adage about the voluntary-poor in the USA becoming “uncomfortable in their poverty” will come true no matter what.

Your exceptions for government officers is noisome.

Single payer is one goal certainly but control over who gets what care, now encroaching on us, is a major goal as well.

The 21st Amendment came along to repeal/rescind the 18th—the latter not being the USA’s first exercise in post-Constitutionalism. The falsely-named “PPACA” ought to require far less to rescind, of course, but the post-Constitutionalism has hit a fever pitch now.

I don't see anyone driving a stake through its heart. It's here to stay so long as seniors vote.

No, it’s here as long as borrowing continues; and the cracks are already in the infrastructure what with seniors having to pay into “supplemental insurance”. Remember (by comparison) that Obama is the first president under whom SS payments had briefly ceased to include COLA increases.

Something Obama had nothing to do with. Social Security COLAs are calculated using a formula that was enacted long before Obama was elected.

The silver lining to any horrendous economic collapse (which may well include default) is that the US may BE FORCED to really and truly look at all obligations and ask the question: What can we afford? What is actually doable and sustainable?

If that day comes, then the Ponzi schemes all stop, and it doesn't matter what the voters think about it. We are where we are because the mob votes for free stuff. That won't stop until it has to stop. Perhaps that day approaches.

Obamacare will never be repealed. The RINOs running the GOP have neither the will or inclination. I expect the best health care system in the world will collapse and be replaced by a single payer national health care plan. Get used to long waits for care, care being rationed, soaring costs and second rate care. Imagine all of us being served by the VA. Of course Congress and government officials will have their own plan not available to us peons. The liberal elites with money will go to exclusive cash only health care facilities or overseas for VIP care while the rest of us wait in line at dingy government clinics.

The only real solution is to hold a Government Holiday Ball, with all highly-placed officials attending, and dancing the Tyburn Jig.

As long as the liberals feel-hope-dream that they can change or delete the 2nd Amendment, a piece of legislation as young and illegally conceived as ObamaCare will be easy pickin’s.

Im gonna love seeing heads explode when they are actually told “NO”.

I plan on living long enough to laugh at a lot of todays administration as the walk into federal prison.
