Little bits of knowledge like that would have clipped that pre-planned sound bite in it’s tracks ....

Interesting ~

IMO, Jindal was the winner. All of you can jump on the Carly bandwagon if you want, but, she is a phony, IMO.

Jindal has been the most principled conservative among all 17 candidates.

Never backed off on Christians not wanting to bake a caks for a homo-sexual wedding.

Never backed off Opposing Obamatrade (Cruz, the other conservative was for it before he is against it).

Consistently against Obamacare.

Consistently against amnesty.

Reduced government size in LA more than any other governor. (by percentage, LA not as big as NY, TX)

Consistent on Radical Islamic terrorism.

And consistent on so many other issues such as education, military, taxes etc.

Watch Rubio

That would be something. I can't picture Rubio being strong enough to try taking down Trump. Not in the same league.

A little known FACT about Gov. George Pataki. As previously stated, I do not feel he is presidential material but wanted to share this with all of you.

When the GOP ran him against 2 term , ultra liberal Mario Cuomo, he was not expected to win. However, his message resonated with voters in a very BLUE state. So sure were they that he would lose that no monies were ever allocated for his transition team. This can be quite costly as it entails setting up an office with equipment, staff, computer networks, telephones, payroll, etc. Monies needed to be raised to cover these expenses.

Pataki never forgot this! During his 3 terms, he reduced costs, cut taxes and built up state income. From that, he set aside monies for the next gubernatorial winner to cover the expenses of his transition ... AND ... created a rainy day fund to be used when the state found itself in financial difficulty.

After 3 terms, Pataki ceded his place to newly elected Governor Eliot Spitzer who burned through the transition account and never replaced it. When Spitzer was caught in a prostitution scandal, he was succeeded by Governor David Paterson. Like his predecessor, he took full advantage of any excess funds and rapidly consumed all of the "rainy day" monies set aside by Pataki.

My position during the Pataki Administration was in the computer unit; we were not appointed. However, it was truly an honor, as a native New Yorker who hates politics, to have assisted the Pataki staff during his 3 term administration. They were a cohesive group with a positive outlook. Those years stand in stark contrast to the ones under Spitzer and Paterson.

I went Jindal and Fiorina tied up.
Santorum surprised me one notch down as did Perry
Gilmore another down.
Lindsay and Pataki did better than I thought, but at the rear.

I am not for any of these candidates, but wish the first two would replace Crispy and kasich. I hope Jeb, crispy and kasich totally flame out tonight. I look forward to this evening, but kind of expect to get a glimpse into each one as we did with the earlier debate.

I want Santorum in because he is the only candidate advocating a reduction in legal immigration. Santorum was the runner-up Romney so he does have some cred. Santorum has no shot at being the nominee, but I want the issue of legal immigration to be raised up from the kid’s table next time.
