“Perhaps, but cops should really stop trying to stop people from driving away by getting in front of their cars on foot. Some people will just run them the hell over.”
Indeed. I’ve had someone (not a cop) do that to me. Given “fight or flight” instincts, it’s hard to not just gun the engine.
One of the dumbest absurdities repeated ad nauseam by the druggie contingency...
Any adult not hampered by substance abuse can see the distinction between a triviality or the determination to run a cop (or anyone else) over.
Its been my policy to NOT stop for anyone that runs out in front of my car on foot since I learned to drive.
Read stories or people robbed, raped and killed who stopped and decided that that was not going to be me.
Sue the city blind, becomes sue the tax payer blind.
I wish there was a way that the impact of crimes, such as this, did not financially wreak havoc on the citizens, but compensation must be paid for police injustice/brutality.
My case involved a low speed chase for miles, in a foreign country, family in the car, and he cut me off in a relatively remote area. He jumped out and into my path.
This kid was shot in the back because his girlfriend had a small amount of pot. The war on drugs strikes again.
It sounds like another cop committed a homicide. The race of the victim is beside the point.
The sarcasm was obviously lost on you.
I don’t expect this will be leading the evening news.
Blaming out of control cops on “the war on drugs” is what is beside the point.
I dunno. We got a scofflaw running for president, and another one retired from the IRS with a six-figure pension.
Scofflawin' is a pretty good gig, if you're not a peasant...
Yes it was and appears to have been lost on others, it is typical on this site when being sarcastic to use /s - it will let others know you are being sarcastic and not just simple minded.
