Bill Clinton already had Donald Trump's cellphone number.
The two have been buddies for years, which means Clinton also had Trump's number in a larger sense.
Clinton knew exactly who he was talking to when he and Trump had a phone chat back when The Donald was deciding whether to run for president this time around.

Bill Clinton has never appeared to want Hillary as president. He has “inadvertently” sabotaged her on more than one occasion, and this Foundation stuff will raise its head again, as Bill will see to it.
That’s why I believe it was probably Bill who called Trump, not the other way around.
The only reason for Trump to call Bill would be for reasons of protocol, between public friends. imho.

Well he says as much.....and may be so....at this juncture I just want someone who will do the job and isn’t the general established politician....Cruz has been operating in Washington for awhile now trying to “move” the electorate to DO they have to do, and ‘proven’ unwilling to do so.
I know Cruz has ‘a base within the Congress’ who are prepared to take this country back should he win the presidency, and he has the path marked to so so.... Trump will have to “build” that in WAshington and time just isn’t plentiful to do so.

Yes. I agree....I think what we’re watching between Cruz and Trump, and those we don;t see enabling them like Coutler,Palin and many other conservatives working it behind the scenes.....is a very real ‘orchestrated plan’ to take back our government... the establishment is well aware this is now in swing.
The counter moves by Hillary, Jeb and demorats, and others behind them, are also playing out with the full knowledge this is a breaking up of their hold on our country. That IS what this election is about.
Why they want Trump and Cruz stopped?...They’ll stop their gravy train...Trump and Cruz will surely investigate the corruption and bribery and prosecute the criminals that are ripping Americans off.....Nothings off the table in bringing Trump or Cruz down as I see it.

The Bushs are big pals of Bill Clinton, too. Babs called Clinton her third son. Bush Sr. joined up with Clinton to raise funds for Haiti and I think the Clinton Foundation sucked off most of that money.
No body is friends with Hillary much.
I apologize for my response. Clearly, Donald was just joking when he threatened to run against the GOP nominee if he was not the winner. He is such a breath of fresh air.
