Daily Beast ^ | Aug. 4, 2015 | Michael Daly

Posted on 08/06/2015 10:34:48 AM PDT by Twotone

Bill Clinton already had Donald Trump's cellphone number.

The two have been buddies for years, which means Clinton also had Trump's number in a larger sense.

Clinton knew exactly who he was talking to when he and Trump had a phone chat back when The Donald was deciding whether to run for president this time around.

It is clear that because Donald Trump knows Bill Clinton that Donald will do anything Bill asks him to do! Of course, Hillary is only married to Bill so she won’t do anything Bill asks. Now I understand just how dangerous Donald Trump is!

I know they talk, but anything further than that...I think it ‘before the debate’ dirt throwing....

Nobody knows what Trump will do SubMareener, it’s his own show...he will do as he determines regardless of who advises him...his history shows that he does so.

I don’t think anyone can call it ‘FOR’ Trump...he appears to make up his own mind regardless of which Party affiliated people might be on or say.

Apparently it is he said/he said as to who called who.

But Bill has always been supportive of the conservative base.

Of course they talk. They ALL talk. Tell me, though, what benefit does Trump get in this?

Well, it’s clear if I ever ran for office, I’d better move away from my atheist ultralib druggie neighbor who’s always knocking on the door to borrow something...

Exactly. If...IF...he were working with the Klyntons as some type of straw man, I daresay he would need to be gaining something HUGE. What is that, exactly? Do tell.

Trump would only play the straw man if he stood to benefit from it, and I should think that benefit would need to be HUGE. So do tell, what would Trump benefit from working with the Klyntons that he doesn’t already have? Hmmmm?

Actually, if you read “Time to Get Tough”, published in 2011, you will learn what Donald Trump is proposing to do. There is the 5-point Trump Plan for stopping illegal immigration. There is a specific proposal for replacing Obamacare with Competition and Tort Reform. (Note: This part may be upsetting the GOP-e). There is a description of how to reform Government support programs to turn them from their current hammock status and make them back into a safety net. The Elites know Donald Trump will actually do the things he says he will do, and it has them petrified! :-)

Oh brother. The author is trying to stir up trouble where there is none. I’m reading “The Art of the Deal” right now. Trump cultivates relationships with virtually everyone who are in positions of power and influence. His schedule (grants in the late 80’s) was nothing but phone calls and meetings with influential people. He doesn’t do it because he’s a social butterfly. He does it because he’s looking for an advantage. A weakness in foes. Possible strengths he can exploit.

Or maybe even Bill Clinton knows that Trump will be a better president than hillary would.

In spite of his flaws, I don't think anyone can doubt that BC loves the US.

Bill Clinton loves Bill Clinton.

If Trump doesn’t win the GOP nomination; perhaps he will endorse her royal highness!!!!!!!!!!!! He does appear to have a temper if he doesn’t get what he wants or expects.

When you are a billionaire businessman you hobnob with Presidents. I like his honesty. He says of course I gave money to the Democrats, I gave money to Republicans. I’m a businessman and if anyone tells you that when companies give money to politicians they expect nothing in return ... they are lying. I will take that kind of honesty any day and that is why Trump is leading. I love when asked how he’d do in debate he said, I don’t know. Those guys debate and talk all the time... that’s all they do..talk talk talk.. I get things done. LOVE IT.

Good point! Bill already has the money, and the donors will be mad at Hillary if she doesn’t deliver any more than she did when she was Secretary of State. And if Trump is elected, Bill knows that he will prosecute Hillary so that Bill won’t have to have the “Energizer Bunny” leave the Chautauqua house! Talk about a WIN-WIN! ;-)

“The Elites know Donald Trump will actually do the things he says he will do, and it has them petrified! :-)” ———

No one knows what Donald Trump will do.

We are all taking a risk that he will do what he says he will do on only a couple of issues. Immigration and China.

The only fear factor on his policy actions is in your own mind.

Right now the Establishment and media are simply afraid they will have to work harder to take him out, over the course of 15 months.
