Who else would a conservative folk hero turn to for wise counsel while contemplating a run for president but Bill Clinton?
It's cute that WaPo thinks this is a big "get" as if it'll discourage a single Trump supporter from backing him. The first rule of political hero worship is that the hero can do no wrong.

If that was the case, they would have gone with someone that DIDN'T appeal across a wide spectrum of ideologies. Trump's popularity cuts a wide swath from left to right. If her WERE to run 3rd party, I daresay he would stand just as much of a chance to screw Hitlery as he would the GOP candidate. Perot was less popular on the left, which is why it was so easy for him to screw over the republicrats. The attempt to paint Trump as strawman is pretty lame, really.
