HOwever, those same companies are in the position to up and move their jobs overseas to where they think the cheaper talent is. So, you have to ask yourself, in the long term, do you want to consider the H1-B issue more devastating than companies moving their ops to foreign soil? It’s worth a discussion.

Moving the entire operation to another country would entail moving most of the management to places they'd rather not live, and have them directly report to people with very little ability to check behind them.
