REPUBLICAN CIVIL WAR: BUSH SAYS TRUMP 'BAFFOON' A 'CLOWN' AN '***HOLE'

http://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2015/08/gop-2016-debate-jeb-bush-donald-trump-121076.html#.VcNyqktq5SE

The half-dozen conservative senators and governors who had planned to run before Bush brought out his shock-and-awe fundraising campaign, had to laugh: They viewed Bush himself as an intruder, a political semi-retiree who sat on the sidelines for eight years while they fought Barack Obama. Now it was Bush’s turn to rage at an outsider.

“Seriously, what’s this guy’s problem?” he asked one party donor he ran into recently according to accounts provided by several sources close to Bush—and he went on to describe the publicity seeking real estate developer now surging in public polls far ahead of Bush and all the 15 others in the Republican field as “a buffoon,” “clown” and “***hole.”

“Bush is no fool. He’s baiting Trump”

You’ve got to be kidding. This was a very foolish thing to do. Bush looks like a little man. If Bush did this purposefully, then he is an even bigger fool.

If that was true they wouldn't have Trump to worry about.

The formerly presumptive nominee pulls a knife on a man with a gun. Wouldn’t Jeb the Turd make a wonderful President?

Worse than anything he’s said about Obama.

I look forward to tonight's "debate" -- but look far more forward to making America great again. It can happen!

Bush forgot to add RINO and CLINTONITE.

I won't vote for either Trump or Bush.

Jeb. Always clumsy. Now desperate. Makes for sloppy. Leads to fail.

Definitely wasn't prudent at this juncture.

I don’t and won’t support Jeb Bush but this seems extreme. Who said all this ? The headline cites a group but the quote source is not attributed. I don’t link Drudge because of download problems.

I have suspected Trump has a glass jaw, this may show if I’m right or wrong. In general I suspect the whole thing is a show, for the ugly.

... Politico’s lame attempt to disrupt tonight’s debate.

None of these comments from Bush were made yesterday, or in the past few days.... they’ve been sitting on this for a long time, waiting...

Good to know, Trump is certainly aware of this, public perception and publicity are his business, let's see who else is.

so he is like the seagulls from that kids movie...

“mine, mine, mine, mine, mine, mine...”

First they ignore you,
Then they ridicule you,
Then they attack you,
then you win.

If they DON’t attack trump it proves how gutless these candidates are in comparison to Trump.

sad really.

Possibly. It’s difficult to win the election without Ohio. It can be done, but...........they don’t need Bush. He has been out of politics for 8 years, and there is Rubio from FLorida, who is still in office, so they have their Florida boy right there. I hears a pundit on Fox & Friends this morning who said he thinks it will be a Kasich/Rubio ticket. Just reporting what I heard.

Bush is in serious trouble. Not just to Trump. Honestly I think he will fizzle out eventually, but this still hurts Bush because he knows Bush will not get those votes ever. And the rest of the field is carving out votes too. Having Chris Christie and Lindsay Graham running is good because it splits the liberal vote.

I think Walker is in the best spot to claim the nomination because he has the best chance to pick up Bush voters when they realize he isn’t going to win. But he also can carry a lot of conservative votes too on his “proven winner” and “willing to take on big liberal organizations” in a very liberal state and win!

Cruz’s relationship with Trump looks interesting because that could help Cruz if Trump decides to pull out and back Cruz. I’d love to see it come down to Cruz vs. Walker. Either way we’ll have a solid nominee.

I have issues with both men to be fair.

Cruz’s support of TPP was very stupid. He did it because he wants that same power if he wins the Prez.

Walker has some questionable positions/flip-flops on immigration.

But those are about the only two people in the Republican field I think I can vote for this election cycle. I could vote for Trump just to piss off the press and political class though. But Trump has some big issues/concerns for me; however, he’s no worse than the rest and it would be fun watching him for 4 years irk the media and the political class.

If anyone heard the John Bachelor show last night, you heard Jeb described as someone who really doesn’t have the fire in his belly to win the job. He’s running more out of a sense of family obligation than because he wants it. The prediction was that the establishment GOP throws its support to Kasich if Bush looks as bad in the debates as expected.
