Concerns about San Francisco’s decaying light poles were ignited Monday night after one corroded by urine toppled onto a car, narrowly missing the driver.

The three-story-tall lamp post at Pine and Taylor streets snapped around 6:30 Monday and landed on a nearby car, almost crushing the driver. No one was injured.

You might be a redneck if “urine” a pickup truck with no wheels in your back yard.

That’s a thin gauge access panel likely not protected by much of a paint coat. It is used to access the connections from the underground run up to the light.

It would be good to know what part of this lamp post broke loose. Maybe at the hold down bolts near the bottom for the base after the bums started pissing in the rust hole.

Million dollar accident man. This guy will get the right lawyer and clear a million easily. All he has to do is suggest that he’ll do a on-line ad and note how the city inspects it’s light poles and suggest it’s unsafe to ride around the city. They’d pay this guy off real quick.

OPEN THE BOOKS NOW San Fransicko lib/zits are all stirred up WRT the Steinle killing....there's nothing as cowardly as a scared lib/zit.

San/Fran Mayor Lee and the Board of Supervisors control billions in tax revenue.....local tax revenue, state tax revenue, federal tax revenue.

San/Fransicko is a global tourist destination----the tax take from tourism alone (added to restaurant and hotel bills) must be in the billions.

WHERE IS ALL THE MONEY GOING?

THIS ITEM IN THE SAN FRANCISO BOARD OF SUPERVISOR'S BUDGET REPORT IS A HUGE RED FLAG--- And I quote: "For the first time in fifteen years, the Mayor’s Budget Office did not ask Departments to make any reductions in their budgets. Although the current deficit projections look better than last year, we will still be forced to make difficult decisions to produce a balanced budget."

UT-OH Asking Dept's to reduce budgets? In a world renowned city that is teeming w/ tax revenue? Local revenue. State Revenue. Federal Revenue. Tax revenue from world-wide tourism alone must be in the billions.

Where is all the money going?

FYI---a govt official asking for agency reductions is the very same MO used by the Illinois govt official who stole $80 million tax dollars using a secret bank account to siphon off govt tax revenue.

OPEN THE BOOKS OF SANCTUARY CITY NOW---ACTION PROJECTS---(1) find the banks that handle sanctuary city municipal finances; (2) find sanctuary city insurance carriers; (3) prosecute stupid S/Fran govt agencies subsidizing the killer's ride on the gravy train using multiple identities; (4) prosecute ALL sanctuary city agencies' fraudulent use of tax dollars.

==============================================

The SEC, FBI, IRS, and banking overight agencies, would be interested in the activities of city agencies WRT dispersement of tax dollars.

CONT

Official San/Fran crimes might include--govt fraud, conspiracy, collusion, falsifying official documents (a felony), filing falsified documents, money laundering, tax evasion, extortion, theft, misuse of public facilities etc etc etc.

The SEC, FBI, banking overight agencies, and the IRS, would be interested in the activities of sanctuary city entities WRT the dispersement of tax revenue.

============================================

The Bank Secrecy Act should be mobilized----to follow the paper trail and determine how sanctuary city tax revenue changed hands; to determine the scope and dimension of collusion in sub rosa deals and which sanctuary city officials might be personally profiting.

<><> L/E needs to examine San/Fran official bank accounts.

<><> Joint bank accounts might be used to facilitate the transfer funds from one account to another, and/or wire-transferred offshore;

<><> To cover-up sanctuary city wrongdoing, fake invoices might be created to show that money deposited into official accounts was being used for legitimate purposes.

<><> Financial schemes scheme might be advanced by issuing phony statements of payments from financial sources that actually covered the transfer of funds for sanctuary city insiders' personal use and/or for redistribution schemes.

===============================================

NOTE WELL Under the Bank Secrecy Act, banks are required to establish, implement and maintain programs designed to detect and report suspicious activity indicative of money laundering and other financial crimes. “The Bank Secrecy Act was enacted to protect the public from harm by identifying and detecting money laundering from criminal enterprises, terrorism, tax evasion or other unlawful activities,” the special agent in charge for Internal Revenue Service Criminal Investigation, explained.

Shady banking transactions could be prosecuted under the (1) Bank Secrecy ACT, (2) RICO, and, (3) the Hobbs Act.

=============================================

<><> L/E should get ahold of: (1) copies of sanctuary city checks, (2) wiretransfers, (3) account statements, (4) invoices, (5) bills, (6) delivery tickets, (7) correspondence including snail mail, e-mail, mobile devices, cell phones, (8) contracts, (9) loan agreements, (10) other account books or official records.

L/E should also explore (a) monies paid to brokers, sub-brokers, (b) family members, (c) mortgage brokers, (d) financial managers, and, (e) real estate agents, brokers, and developers.

<><> L/E should scrutinize bank accounts for suspicious activites: (A) large deposits, (B) funds transferred from one account into another, (C) frequent requests for withdrawals.

DO THIS NOW---CONTACT CONGRESS HERE: http://www.contactingthecongress.org/

DEMAND CONGRESS SEND YOU THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION:
HOW DO SANCTUARY CITIES DISPERSE FEDERAL TAX DOLLARS?

<><> How many tax dollars were allocated "to protect Americans from illegal felons"?

<><> How many tax dollars were spent "to secure and manage our borders," and "reduce the number of illegal immigrants and amount of contraband getting into the United States"?

<><> How many tax dollars were spent to "enforce and administer immigration laws"?

<><> How many tax dollars were spent "to provide safe and secure detention of illegal immigrants in federal custody if they are a flight risk or a public safety concern"?

INCONVENIENT FACTOID: All of the above are the excuses DHS Secy Johnson uses for his bloated $42 billion budget.

REFERENCE--Homeland Security seeks $41.2 billion budget for 2016
February 4, 2015---By BioPrepWatch Reports

Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson announced a $41.2 billion budget request Monday for the 2016 fiscal year.

The budget would improve the unity of effort at the department, Johnson said, focusing on “harmonizing DHS business processes.” Along with the budget, a new Common Appropriations Structure was also submitted to Congress, which would standardize financial planning, programming and budgets for all DH agencies, Johnson said.

There are five areas the department focuses on each year, and the budget is in alignment with those five missions, Johnson said.

<><> The first mission is to prevent terrorism and enhance security in the country by implementing security for the land, air and at sea.

<><> The next mission is to secure and manage the country’s borders, and reduce the number of illegal immigrants and amount of contraband getting into the United States.

<><> The third mission includes enforcing and administering immigration laws and providing safe and secure detention of illegal immigrants in federal custody if they are a flight risk or a public safety concern.

<><> The fourth mission deals with safeguarding and securing cyberspace, which impacts economic security. The 2016 budget would invest in technology and staff to reduce cybercrime and improve the security of federal network defenses

<><> The fifth mission, Johnson said, is to strengthen national preparedness and resilience so the country can prepare and respond to any type of disaster.<><> Johnson said before Congress approves any funding for the next fiscal year lawmakers should approve funding for the current year.

“The President’s FY 2016 Budget provides the resources necessary for the Department of Homeland Security to further strengthen our efforts to fulfill our wide-ranging missions, while also being agile and vigilant in the face of ever-evolving threats and recent world events,” Johnson said. “But prior to acting on the FY 2016 Budget, I urge Congress to fully fund DHS for the rest of this fiscal year, as the current continuing resolution is disruptive, creates uncertainty, and impedes efficient resource planning and execution.”

This reminds me of a classic story written by H.L. Mencken, about the newspaper business in Baltimore.

In one such newspaper, on a boring, rainy afternoon with little or no news, but still on deadline, a reporter decided to write a fake news story about a rainy day, when a man’s umbrella tip brushed up against a gas lamp post, right when it was struck by a bolt of lightning, and the man was killed.

Needless the gas company was not pleased with this, and sued the newspaper, which would have put it out of business.

But on the very day the trial was to begin, it was a rainy day, when some man’s umbrella happened to brush against a gamp lamp post, and with tremendous irony, that was right when it was hit by a bolt of lightning, killing him.

It would be good to know what part of this lamp post broke loose.

***************

From the video it appears to have separated at the flange used to bolt it to the holding pad.
I’m assuming but don’t know for sure that the flange is welded to the bottom of the poll.

Apparently they were already in that mode. The article says they are inspecting
some 25,000 poles and have replace 100 or so at this time.
