Not one of these erstwhile candidates could come up with a single agency they could bear to shutter. That’s the problem. Trump is right all talk and no action.
But notice how they all have a plan to cut SS, Medicare and raise the retirement age. No problemo.
What is so hard about that question?
DHS should be shut down and any necessary agencies (like the Coast Guard) returned to their original departments.
Agencies that are an affront to freedom (like the BATFE) should be shut down.
Also to be shut down are the Departments of Energy, Education, Labor, Commerce, Health and Human Services, Housing and Urban Development, Transportation, and Veteran Affairs (given the continuing VA hospital scandals, the whole thing needs to.
Most of these have completely failed at their jobs, anyway.
Finally, the Department of Defense will be renamed back to the Department of War. Need to give those fellows a hint as to what their job actually is.

Therein lies the difference between career (criminal) politicians, and Donald Trump.
