Columnist Charles Krauthammer argued that “Teflon Don” Donald Trump has show “he’s going to be a durable candidate” on Monday’s “O’Reilly Factor” on the Fox News Channel. Krauthammer said of Trump’s debate strategy, “I would think from his point of view, when you have the kind of lead he does, and the others have no particular incentive to attack you, because it might hurt the two of you, and leave the rest of the field unmolested, you’ve got a pretty good shot at just playing statesman and being quiet.

Meh. When it was Reagan v. Mondale in 1984, Krauthammer worked for Mondale. Not that a person can’t come to his senses, but I’m a bit of a skeptic when I hear or read his pronouncements on a candidate.
And boy o boy, he sure hated admitting that.
Amazing what happens when a man stands up for himself in the face of the digital hit/lynch mob.
Americans seem to want a real man at the head after 8 years of this wuss in the White House.

I like “Teflon Don”, good reminder of Reagan going to Washington without being an inside-the-beltway Republican or politician. I do not agree with the statesman route. Trump’s strength now is his honest, no holds barred bull in the china shop campaign. He needs to deliver that at the debate.
As much as they harp on Trump the businessman’s politics changing with the wind, they change their tune themselves because they see which way the wind is blowing now...because journalism is a business, too. Hard left news pundits are going to be marginalized more than ever. That’s why Chrissy Matthews lately acts like he’s got a “tingle up his Right leg”...perhaps he has a “trickle going down his Left”...lol
They’re just waiting to see if he hits a wall, then they would all be on him like starving hyenas. That’s their nature.
Well, Chuck Todd recently said that the more the media attack Trump the more his poll numbers go up. They are trying reverse psychology here. I think they now want to frame Trump as someone they like i.e. an establishment man, so as to lump him with all the rest so his poll numbers will go back down.
Hey, its all they got at this point.
Trump was ‘durable’ long before Dr K’s pronouncement.

The whole panel of Fox ‘special’ Report are now searching their minds for all the crap they said about Trump and hoping no one remembers what they said.
I have to admit, I have doing that myself, in the sense, that I never thought he was really viable because of his past attempts for the office.
