Planned Parenthood survived a procedural vote Monday in the U.S. Senate on a bill to defund the organization, after a series of undercover videos emerged to suggest that the organization may have been willing to sell fetal organs from late-term abortions to tissue companies.
The vote for cloture was 53-46, meaning that it fell well shy of the 60 votes needed to end debate and proceed to a vote. The vote was largely along partisan lines, with Sen. Mark Kirk (R-IL) 28% crossing over to vote with Democrats, and Sens. Sen. Joe Donnelly (D-IN) 7% and Joe Manchin (D-WV) voting with the GOP. House Majority Leader Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) 52% voted against the measure to preserve the option of a re-vote.
The bill was proposed by first-term Sen. Joni Ernst (R-IA) 60% . The White House opposed it strongly, with press secretary Josh Earnest telling CNN on Monday that while he had not personally seen the “shocking” videos, he believed that the videos had been “selectively edited.”
The issue promises to be a significant factor in the 2016 presidential race, as well as in numerous competitive races for congressional seats.

I think if he had voted for the bill and it failed then it can’t be brought back up later, with his move they can bring it up every day and shut down the government.

This is what he means, Christians have not done this.
I think we are past this scripture, now we need to pray for God’s judgement on our country.

They should have sold the bill as "protecting BLACK babies" legislation. They should have called it the "African - American Child Defense Bill."
It was a mere ‘show vote’ to provide cover for GOP leadership.
As Ted Cruz heroically pointed out if McConnell was serious about defunding these murdering butchers the defunding measure would have been attached to a must-pass bill like the highway bill. But such a move would have brought bout a confrontation with Obama which McConnell has neither the courage nor the intellect to meet.
Trump is right. the USA has stupid incompetent political leaders.
Cecile Richards, President of Planned Parenthood, is the daughter of former Texas Governor Ann Richards.
She is also a former deputy chief of staff to U.S. Rep. Nancy Pelosi.

They only care about power and they do not care how they get it. Planned Parenthood can do whatever it pleases as long as the left gets their vote and their support. One day, a people with some kind of morality will take over this country and then, this and other hedonistic, in your face, irrationalities and insults will stop. Is everyone on the left in Washington D.C. an atheist? Do they not ever consider their souls and especially, someone like Hillary Clinton, who is on up in years? The Bible says, “What is the benefit if you gain the world and lose your own soul?” I have begun to read and study the book of Revelation in the Bible. Also, the book of Daniel. The visions, interpreted, certainly make one believe that we are definitely at the door of the end where people are lovers of themselves rather than lovers of God. That judgment will come in the end is a relief to those of us who believe.

I believe a judge has stopped the release and airing of those tapes.
Archbishop Fulton Sheen, shortly before he died, related a story of meeting a woman on a cross-country flight. She was seated in his row, and was very beautiful and finely dressed. He was of course in clerics, and she began talking to him about religion.Archbishop Sheen related that he felt something very wrong about this woman, there was something about her that chilled him.
At the end of the flight, Archbishop Sheen said something about abortion, and the woman stated that she prays and does satanic rituals every day for an increase in abortion.
With the release of the fourth video, it looks like they've decided to ignore the judge. They have no other moral choice.

When you put it all together, it does seem like a satanic ritual — especially after watching the videos of Planned Parenthood abusing the body parts.
