House Speaker Rep. John Boehner (R-OH) had been planning to call up on the House floor last week a measure from Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) that would have removed him as Speaker of the House if it succeededintending to embarrass Meadowsbut abandoned the plan after his entire leadership structure learned that they did not have the votes to re-elect him as Speaker before the August recess.
[House Majority Leader Kevin] McCarthy was making phone callshe was whipping itand so was [House Majority Whip] Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA), a senior conservative movement leader whos had many personal and direct discussions with various House GOP members about this told Breitbart News in an interview last week.
I know members personally who were called by Steve Scalise. So they had the entire leadership whip team frantically making phone calls to members to whip the vote because they wanted to attempt to embarrass Meadows and call the vote [on Wednesday last week] so its not hanging over Boehners head.
What they found out was the exact opposite. They found out bad things would happen, that literally they would be calling the vote without knowing what would happen. Therefore, they did not call the vote and now they have this issue hanging over John Boehners head for the next five weeks.

That might be why the GOPe are sending out emails to everyone on their mailing list with
this laughable revisionism and propaganda style spin throughout.
The email and that page are exactly the same...note they try to spin surrender and collapse to Zero as "getting things done".
Didn't think the email deserved its own thread, but it does need deconstructing.

I have emails concerning Boehner's crying. I am trying to find a source to verify those. It is said that Boehner has been coached. He has been given "acting lessons" as it were. His "crying" is as phoney as everything else he does. |

This is especially shocking for the GOPe because even if Boehner were removed, the GOPe’s handpicked successor would be unlikely to succeed.
This is getting their attention. Elections have consequences and the GOPe basically annuled the last election. American voters are seriously angry.

If GOPe Republicans had shone any backbone since November, they wouldn’t be in these straights and Trump would be a curiosity at best.

The GOPe hit their email lists earlier, check the link in 21 for the crap they’re sending.
Could you deconstruct it when you get the chance?

Hes also a closet chain-smoker, fond of the Barclays brand, rumored to be able to suck half a pack down in a matter of minutes if given a proper recess.
The son of a bar owner, Boehner worked alongside his father mopping the floors at Andys Café when he was in elementary school. Perhaps thats where he first developed his taste for booze, but today, Congressman Boehner resembles a modern day Dean Martin of sorts, even leading a social life the legendary crooner would envy.
Hes made a name for himself with his legendary late-night parties which he first began throwing at the 1996 Republican National Convention. Nicknamed the Best Little Warehouse party, Boehner, (along with Bruce Gates, a tax lobbyist with Washington Council Ernst & Young and head of Mr. Boehners Freedom Project PAC and prominent lobbyist Henry Gandy) are known for throwing a party at the RNC that runs multiple days, often lasts until dawn and exceeds $100,000.
When Boehner replaced Tom Delay and was elected as Majority Leader back in 2006, disclosure reports filed with the FEC show that Boehner (or his representatives), spent $1,465 at the classy liquor store Schneiders of Capitol Hill on February 3rd, the very next day after he was elected as leader. Clearly a celebration was in order. The bill was paid by Boehners slush fund, errr leadership PAC, The Freedom Project.
At the Convention, Boehner gave two awkward, drunken speeches that were embarrassing, somewhat uncomfortable, and confusing at best for those in attendance. The man could not pronounce a name if his life depended on it.(Click For More)

Boehners drinking problem ignored by the mainstream media received a bit of coverage on a Washington, D.C. blog earlier this year.
Those who know Boehner best say he does tip more than a few from time to time and some of his drunken binges are poorly-kept secrets on Capitol Hill, the blog, Capitol Hill Blue noted. Each day, the email to Capitol Hill Blue is filled with stories about Boehners after-hours partying exploits.
During a trip to Washington, D.C. earlier this year, FITS heard many of these stories
with specific references to the Capitol Hill Club.
Boehner isnt just a drunk, either, hes allegedly an inveterate skirt-chaser whos had numerous affairs, according to Down With Tyranny, another Washington, D.C. blog. In fact one lawmaker told us on our recent Washington trip that Boehner married since 1973 was forced to narrow his number of regular lobbyist lovers from three down to one when it became evident he was in line to become Speaker in 2010.(Click To read More)

The GOP centrists are feeling the heat and are finding it discomforting. That’s whats behind this. Is the story true? Possibly. It’s also probable that it different flavors of truth mixed up.
A good portion of the Electorate is seething right now and probably don’t even know the exact reason why. Trump is channeling this, as it’s not his baby. He just saw the tiger’s tail and grabbed it for a ride.
Trump and the Tiger tail. The tail being the angry and betrayed voters who handed over Congress on a silver platter to their party. Then watch them feast at the trough with nary an acknowledgment.
