He has called her a criminal and said she should be prosecuted.

He says that now. He's previously given her and the Clinton Crime Family Foundation hundreds of thousands of dollars.

I don't think he's actually in her employ, but the effect is the same.

His actions over the years (not his words over the last few weeks) have shown that he is, in no way, a true conservative. He's a big government hump who knows how to whip up the populist rhetoric to self-promote.

I agree with him that Hillary is likely to implode before the nomination, hopefully he will too.

He's a distraction from the current main goal of coalescing around a serious GOP conservative to stop them from ramming Jeb down our throats.

I'm still holding out hope for Walker or Cruz and wish the Trump circus would fold up its tents and leave the fairgrounds.

I think Trump full understands that the Republican party is going to try and stack the deck against him specifically so they can put in their favored candidate instead. He’s giving them fair warning that he knows they’re snakes and he’s letting the public know in a subtle way that they are snakes...

The Democrat party hates us.

The Republican party hates us.

And yet, if someone says he’ll defend what we want by going third party, he’s wrong?

Perot was an idiot that was too successful and dropped out. He could have won.

I have no problem with a third party bid if it’s the right guy and he can pull it off.

The Republican party leadership in Reagan’s day didn’t want him. Would you have wanted him to just drop out if the Republican leadership refused to let him be a part of the debates?

I believe that there are some states with “sore loser laws” that prevent a candidate from running in the general as an independent if they ran in the primary for a party.
I’m sure there’s a freeper here or two that know the laws, entry deadline, and states with regards to this issue. TX is a key state that comes to mind.
If Trump is riding high in the polls, he’ll probably enter all the primaries when the deadlines near. However, if he sinks, and depending on the candidate leading, he might not enter the primaries with sore loser laws.

He says that now. He's previously given her and the Clinton Crime Family Foundation hundreds of thousands of dollars.

You need to actually study up on his giving patterns. This article from NPR is biased in the title...but for all intents and purposes he gave equally to Democrats and Republicans until sometime 2010 when he started giving exclusively to Republicans...and by much larger amounts.

Trump Political Contributions

There is no way to maintain that he is pro-democrat based on his contribution patterns.

Exactly. It’s called leverage. Trump is now telling the GOP that he has the power to cost them te election. Personally, I think the way they are going about it will cost them the election anyway.

I have no problem with Trump doing what he is doing. At least we might actually get something out of it.

Has Jeb ever gotten this third party question? If someone is standing between him and his birthright will he go third party?

It’s the only way that will get their attention.

There is no way to maintain that he is pro-democrat based on his contribution patterns.

Nor is there any way to maintain that he's pro-conservative. As I said, he's not a conservative, he's a populist with a history of supporting big government ideas.

His recent switch to giving more to the big government GOP can be seen as an indicator that he intended to make his move into politics with the GOP, which he saw as more receptive to his populist message.

The growth in federal government power and influence under Trump would likely dwarf similar growth under Jeb or Hillary. It would have a pro-corporation flavor to it, but it would still mean bigger government.

He is not and has never been a conservative.

Mr. Trump is negotiating their socks off and winning in all the major polls.

Having individual donors beating down your door later to keep a candidate to his promises, disclosing them matters.

And just how successful have the voters been in keeping the candidates and nominees committed to their campaign promises? We have a congress of RINO's who have been frightened into listening to no one but the DC lobbyists once they get moved into their new Capitol Hill offices. So give me a break with the high 'n mighty theories. The reality is different.

I will postulate that Trump has a FAR greater chance of succeeding in a 3rd party race than Perot, thereby putting your "psychopath" in the oval office.

People seem to forget that the Republicans began life as a third party.

And you're right about Trump having a far greater chance of beating the candidates of both major parties in a three way match, today. The political dynamics that exist now, are far different from what they were when Perot ran for office, not to mention, the two personalities couldn't be more different.

The American people are nearly at the breaking point with anger, and we on the right have been betrayed in unparalleled fashion by the GOP-e, who have refused to do what we elected them to do, and have, instead, given Obama more power than Reid and Pelosi could have delivered.

In many ways, I feel that we're in uncharted territory in this election, so using conventional wisdom and models may be of limited value. Better to apply logic and reasoned analysis to the race with the facts and factors that exist in this moment - not the past.

Then you may remember Alex Dryer. Hard to believe that people could set and stare at a test pattern, but we did.

Local stations had to find something else to fill the dead time so we had original music videos.

Gale Storm
Harmonicats
Eddy Peabody and his Banjo

TV Antennas often were 100 ft in air to get the closest TV station, a hundred miles away. Slowly smaller communities built their own stations. Those were the days.
